HON Solve Mesh Back Office Chair with Adjustable Arms, Adjustable Height, Tilt Tension, Lumbar Support, Swivels, on Rolling Wheels, Ink

I have had my HON Solve for 4 years now (it was $275 at the time I purchased it). It's still in perfect condition considering how much I use it- it's probably the only chair in the house I sit in for all of these years too (I do everything at my desk- the computer desk is my work and entertainment center). I have a similar Solve chair (the high end version) at my desk at the office which I have had for about 5 years now (pleather and plastic, it was $500 at the time, but my company purchased it). Highly recommended, and if anything were to ever happen to either chair, I would replace them with the exact same HON Solve thing without a second thought. HON is a fantastic brand and I am beyond happy with their chairs.

THIS CHAIR IS HIGH QUALITY, WELL MADE, AND VERY COMFORTABLE. IT ADJUSTS TO MY SHORT FRAME QUITE WELL. The only problem is the lumbar support bar does not stay in place and requires frequent re-adjusting.

Our old and beloved office chair finally fell apart beyond repair after a couple decades of service. Sad to see it go, but this chair is a nice replacement. It feels sturdy and adjusts easily; important because the two people using it have a 12" height difference. Hope it will be used as long and happily as its predecessor.

This is a very sturdy, well-made chair. I purchased it for my son as his first desk chair, but I like it too! It's incredibly customizable, so everyone can find a comfortable way to sit. It was also easy to put together.

Chair appears to be decently constructed but seat cushion is extremely hard, seat back is very rough (have to drape towel over back) and lumbar has minimal adjustment. There is a tension knob underneath but turning it either direction doesn't seem to change anything. Customer Service from seller is extremely slow to respond and had to have Amazon ping them to respond. They also charge a 30% restocking fee and do not pay for return shipping so make sure this is the chair you want or it won't be economically reasonable to return it.

We would have rated this chair higher if the chair came with better instructions. Poor job. Also, there is a lever to raise and lower seat, cool, but the lever on the other side of the chair does not work and not sure what it is to be used for. The arms do not rotate to the left or right or even at an angle like other HON chairs do. We would have thought for this price it would have something more than just a comfortable seat. Oh well, that’s what you get when you order on line. We also thought that by being made and engineered in the USA that this chair would have been better. Guess not. I would recommend looking for another chair.

Very high quality. Spent a lot of time researching and most listed in Amazon received mixed reviews. HON is well known for its professional office furniture and it’s just what I needed for the house during the lockdown.
