Will this work in place of the provided shear adapter for bemdix air disc brakes on Freightliner Gen 5 Cascadias?

Yes this will work but you have to know what you are doing. The provided adapters are meant to break to avoid damaging the caliper. I am not sure why it is not 1/4 instead of 3/8 drive but if you use a 4-6 inch ratchet and don’t go caveman on it then you will not have any issues.

What drive is the socket

It is 3/8 drive. The socket works great.

HD brake repair

Job shop repairs this is a must needed tool. Just like needing a few 10mm sockets when ya lose them to the car gods. Most internal sockets have either been robbed or so worn they break.
