The Big Freeze (Marvel) (Little Golden Book) Hardcover – Picture Book, September 10, 2013

More interesting storyline than most Spiderman stories with wonderful illustration. None of us were familiar with the villains from Asgard in this book, which adds to keeping our attention. Definitely one of the better written and illustrated Avenger books for toddlers and young elementary aged children.

I was ordering some stuff and added this for my son who is 3 (going on 4 next month). we read this book together and he absolutely loved it! I enjoyed reading it with him, as we are both fans of the Marvel Avengers. this is actually a nice spin the characters with a fun, very kid friendly message and ending. I would recommend this to those with younger fans.

My kids love this book. We destroyed the first one and had to buy another! We read it over and over and over….

My son is turning three and I was concerned that this book would be too mature for him. Specifically, I was worried about the portrayals of violence and have opted in the past to stick with the character intro books that Little Golden Books makes. I took a chance with this one and was pleasantly surprised. I thought there was going to be a big battle at the end, but it turns out that it was a playful snowball fight! Ironically, my 3 yo was confused why the "bad guys" were laughing and playing with the "good guys". Either way, this was a good pick and a new favorite book in our house.

Actually had a cute story. Had me and my husband laughing. Although to the Authors...Frost Giants are not from Asgard! They are from Jotunheim! However I can forgive, because my son (who is 4) LOVED the book. :)
