Poorly packaged, dark roast, seems fresh
My poor rating is mostly due to the poor packaging. See photo. The coffee is only in one of those quite low-grade grey plastic bags that I've only ever received non-food items in previously; I would be surprised if they are food safe because they are quite rough and have quite a plastic smell. However it's also not thick enough, as the hole in my bag shows (though it all arrived, inside the box).The coffee itself seems fresh and tastes pretty good—for a dark roast, but that is not what I was expecting. It doesn't say anywhere on the listing how it is roasted; I admit I shouldn't have assumed it was a medium roast just from the photos. But I can't really give too helpful an opinion of the flavour since I don't drink dark roast if I can help it.
