Overland Vehicle Systems 40100021 Dark Gray 117 QT Dry Box Storage with Drain and Bottle Opener | Waterproof Seal | Heavy-Duty Latches and Nylon Handles | Keeps Gear Safe, Dry and Organized

We wanted a single storage box that could hold everything we need when it’s time to leave the city in our Sprinter RV. This dry box exceeded our expectations. It replaced four 15-gallon Sterilite totes, consolidating all of our camping and travel gear into one organized, easy-to-access container. The amount of storage is impressive. What really stands out is the quality. This isn’t just another plastic storage bin it’s an incredibly heavy-duty piece of equipment. The construction is solid, the latches are robust, and it feels like it’s built to handle years of abuse. This is one of those “buy it once” products that you’ll likely own for many years. One thing to know is that, once loaded, it’s heavy. Even with the wheels, it takes some strength to lift into a vehicle, but that’s the tradeoff for having such a durable, well-built storage box. As a bonus, it also doubles as a surprisingly comfortable campground seat. 😄 It’s sturdy enough that we find ourselves sitting on it all the time. For us, it has been worth every single dime. If you’re looking for one serious storage solution instead of juggling multiple totes, I highly recommend it.

Really like the construction; fits perfect on my roof rack. Would like to have a easier way to open the latches, needs to have a better way to open when it is on the roof rack. Like the way that I can strap it down with my Roller Cam straps. I carry my 23Zero Swag and cot with other stuff. It does not alter my gas mileage due to being on top.

Solid construction. Definitely built well and will last a long time. Perfect size for the bed of my short bed pickup. I have a tonneau cover so the hanging storage boxes were not an option. This offers great waterproof storage space. The clasps on the front are sturdy and well made. I do not anticipate any issues with this storage box for as long as I own it. The only thing I would change is to add rubber feet to the bottom so that it does not slide around so easily in the bed of the truck. I used a bungy strap to secure it. The box does have indented locations for straps to lay and stay nicely.

Just received my OVS Storage Box. I was going to build a rectangular box 48x18x14 and apply Rhino Liner to waterproof. I researched and found this box which was almost the perfect dimensions. The price was in the ballpark of what I wanted to pay. The storage box is HEAVY, very well made, a lot of capacity, the 3 latches work well despite there being minimal "fingergrab" on the center latch when opening. Some people have complained about the latches failing. My only problem/complaint is the nylon strap handles on either end. They are a total disaster, they twist around causing the box to tilt on it's front or back side while carrying. This was with the box empty so I can only imagine how it'll twist with a load. This is a definite design failure. I think if the straps were adjustable some of the slack could be removed. I realize it was appx. $200 less than any comparable box but OVS really needs to redesign that carry system. Apart from that I'm happy. Hopefully they'll reach out to me.

Update* I did not send this back. I just unscrewed and moved the latches slightly to loosen the tolerance. Now they are easy enough to use. Everything else about the box has been great! So sad to send this one back. It meets my needs so well and fits perfectly within my Decked cargo glide on my 2016 Tundra or on the roof rack. But the Latches are so poorly designed I physically struggle to open them without a tool. There is just no purchase on the control surface of the latch. Such a design flaw. Otherwise, this is a solid box.

This is a really good dry box for your rig. It will hold all of my recovery gear and camp chairs with ease. Very sturdy! (I can stand on it on my bed rack setup and it doesn’t bend) easy to use and lock up. Kinda spendy for how cheap the buckles are but I am satisfied. Beats the hell out of the roam box for x2 the money.

Built sturdy, exactly what I was looking for. Very well constructed.

This company and product are AWFUL! I purchased these bins and upon the first use I CUT my fingers on the latch and bled on the container. I requested to return the bins due to the defective product and it was accepted. Upon the return of the money, they notified me of a 50%!!!!! restocking fee. WHY!! Why are they restocking a product that is defective and has my blood on it? GROSS!! I reached out to the company to express my concern and the fact that they kept $250!! The company has responded once and said it was policy. I responded again, stating that the product has my BLOOD on it and asked again why they would restock it and charge ME a fee for this. They are now not letting me even reach out and no other responses have been provided. HORRIBLE PRODUCT, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A DISGUSTING COMPANY. DO NOT BUY THESE BINS

I really like the box but the thing I didn’t like is it didn’t come with wheels like it said in the name of the listing to sell it

Keeps the dust and water out. Lots of locations for straps to hold it down.

This box just arrived so I haven't had much time with it, but I have noticed a few things worth mentioning. The buckles on my box are slight bent, I did have to bend them back to make them work properly. The "overland" logo which is not important to its function did immediately fall off, so if thats something you care about be prepared to potential reattach it. Overall for the price I was expecting a bit better quality. Hopefully the dust and water seal holds up once I get this thing out on its first adventure.

I love it

Dommage de pas pouvoir mettre zéro la boîte est aucunement étanche et le service à la clientèle on perdus mon retour donc pas de remboursement c’est quand même proche 600$ qui est perdu je suis vraiment dégoûté
