This MSLAN magnifying glass has been a great purchase for me. Really well made and of good materials. From the handle to the lens it has a lovely antique feel to it plus the magnification ratio is spot on. The excellent price belies its quality which prompts me to fully endorse this as an item for work, home or even a present for a friend or loved one. Well done on this one Amazon.

I almost returned this as it was not the ten times magnification as claimed. I'm glad I didn't as times ten is way too much for everyday use. Think about it. A jewelers loupe is about times ten and you have to get very close to whatever it is you are looking at. I'd say that this is 2X at best. That may not seem like much, but in practical terms, it's ideal. Say you're looking at a map or a stamp maybe, or some small newspaper print, you don't need too much magnification. It lost a star due to the wild claim. For my purposes anything above 2.5X would have been too much. It is very nice looking and very well made and robust.

This was superb my hubby likes magnifying glasses, each to their own, this Is beautiful, feels lovely in the handle, it's even gorgeous to look at and the presentation box was so lovely id expect to pay much more, couldn't be happier. Many thanks

Es ist ein tolles Gefühl, dieses Schmuckstück in der Hand zu halten: echtes Holz, echtes Glas und echtes Metall - nicht Plastik, Plastik, Plastik. Die Linse ist hochwertig. Sie hat am Rand keine Verzerrungen oder Farbfehler. Aber: Das gute Stück ist für den eigentlichen Zweck, den ich vorhatte, leider nicht zu gebrauchen (kleine Texte in Büchern lesen). Aufgrund der Größe der Lupe und des erforderlichen Augenabstandes sehen beide Augen unterschiedliche Bilder, so dass man zum Lesen ein Auge zu kneifen müsste ... was bei längeren Texten auf die Dauer nicht geht. Trotzdem fünf Sterne für dieses Vintage-Meisterstück! Ein Schmuck auf jedem Schreibtisch!

This is a premium product, 100%—no plastic anywhere. The handle is real wood, solid and comfortable in the hand, with a weight that feels substantial. The metal has the look of antique brass, and the glass works beautifully for reading tiny print on charging bricks and other gadgets. It even adds a touch of old-world elegance to my walnut standing desk. I use this much more than I thought I would have especially to read the voltage, amperage, and wattage on different electronic items. This is a functional work of art. One note of caution: it’s heavy! I once tried storing it in a pencil holder, and when it tipped, it left a small chip in my wooden desk. Entirely my fault, not the product’s. Just know this isn’t the flimsy plastic magnifier you might expect—it’s the real deal, solidly built, beautiful, and built to last. No regrets at all.
