I have been using this coconut oil regularly and the quality seems good. It smells fresh and works well for my baby skin The glass jar also feels solid and keeps it well stored. One thing to be aware of is that during colder days it does not become very hard and solid, so, its good.

This cococunt oil is amazing. Came in a box carefully wrapped. I’ve had this in my pantry for four months, and I totally forgot all about it. Well I started using it for 2 weeks in my daily routine. I use a teaspoon or more or less if I feel Like it. I use in my coffee, smoothies cooking, delicious. I apply as moisturiser on my body and face hair. My skin feels alive soft silky and smooth. I used it on my hair today as it started shredding a little, my hair feels soft silky alive, and you only need a little, goes on long way. Soothes and calms my skin as I have very sensitive skin and dry scalp. The benefits of this oil for your well-being is endless. Skin conditions, good skin barrier protection for skin from the environment, add to your essential oils, for massage flaky scalp etc, teeth, etc. Bring the vitality back into your life. There is no wrong or right way to use it. Go with how you feel. Keep it simple and enjoy. I recommend this product and will be buying more xx X xx

I use coconut oil for cooking, creating skin care products and brushing both my dogs teeth. So I know my coconut oils. I always go for raw and organic. As soon as I opened this jar it did not smell of coconut oil - that was first red flag. I spread some on my skin and it was thick and greasy and did not absorb - that was the second red flag. I then tasted it, it not only taste of lard / vegetable oil but i had an immediate gag response. Never happened before - that was the third and final red flag. I offered some to both my dogs who always love and devour coconut oil - however - they walked away from it looking sheepish - that right there told me immediately there was an issue. Within a few minutes I felt very nauseous and my mouth filled with saliva and I was sick. I have honestly got NO IDEA what that was blended with or even what it was - but it WAS NOT PURE ORGANIC COCONUT OIL as far as I am concerned. I called amazon immediately and explained to them regardless of the fact it was not a returnable item - but I was so concerned - that I felt I should report this product. Please avoid this product - especially if you are immuno-suppressant, pregnant or vulnerable in any way as anything could be in it that and it may even harm your body. There was no obvious best before date that I could see - just some numbers on side of lid {potentially a batch number?) Amazon took this seriously and responded accordingly - I do hope they follow it through with the producer. It all got wrapped up in case of bacteria / toxins and disposed of immediately.
