This is my new favorite meditation tool. It is so easy to use and the sound is absolutely beautiful. It's such a soothing tone that lingers. It is constructed by hand and an included card says it is created and prayed over by Monks and Nuns throughout the process. It honestly just feels like it has a great energy and is soothing even just to hold. It is nice and heavy despite being a small bowl. It is the perfect size for what I needed. The mallet is a nice weight, is easy to use, and the bowl performs excellent. If not using this for meditating or calming exercises it would still be very entertaining to play music with. A child could really put on a performance with this. I plan to take very special care of this. The quality of the materials and instructions are excellent. It's beautiful to look at and it's handmade. The sound is beautiful and soothing. I plan on ordering at least one more and very highly recommend this singing bowl.

Love it. Due to the small size, it was not easy to let it sing. But, after a few tries it start singing. Yes it is inexpensive due to its size, but the sound is nice.

I have maybe used this once. I mainly got it for my altar. I fell in love with singing bowls when I was in treatment. It is really beautiful but small. I think it would be a good gift. The quality is great. I love it. I will probably get a bigger one that I will use when I get a meditation room.

Beautiful high-quality bowl. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use. The bowl is a bright copper/gold color and has a red and gold base. I was anticipating it being slightly larger, but it's still fantastic. For its size, it sings pretty loudly.

For its size, it has an amazing voice - the richness was surprising. It is a beautiful bowl and easy to ring. I've been looking for a truly portable bowl and this is it.

Very tiny and doesn't have any sort of flat bottom so you can't put it on a flat surface but I do love the sound and it is made out of solid metal

I bought the smallest bowl. Everything that I got was exactly what was shown, the wood pedestal, the brass bowl and the small pillow. I play, write and record music, and I the bowl that I got is in the key of F. There is also a higher over tone that again is in the key of F when the bowl is played.. sometimes I hear that. I bought this more to try and lessen test studying and the anxiety that comes from studying. I now understand why this is a great meditation tool as you need to concentrate on the bowl and lightly go around the bowl with the wood pedestal but also not too strongly or the bowl will tip over too much. Some tips: 1) The bowl needs to be on the pillow that comes with the bowl as it has a hole in the center like a doughnut. That keeps the bowl's vibrations going. 2) Strike the bowl once in the middle outside then quickly a second quick light hit and circle the bowl, on the small one that I have, I follow the three lines on the outside of the bowl. 3) Make sure you have your wood pedestal above the bowl with your index, middle and thumb and again LIGHTLY go around the bowl. If you go to hard, to bowl will tip to one side while on the pillow. 4) Some times, I notice that the sound will actually get louder as I am circling, know that there is A LOT of vibration that is happening on the metal bowl and many time the wood pedestal can bounce a bit on the surface.. if that happens KEEP GOING because I notice many times I keep the sound going for a long time. It is louder than I thought it would be! And it's awesome.. I wonder how louder the bigger singing bowl are. I really recommend this product and it does have a label on it that it was made in Nepal. - Tom
