Retro Decorative Cast Iron Jack Figurine

Great item. Sturdy realistic. Great conversation piece. Well made. Love it

Came securely packed, which I appreciated, since cast iron is brittle (see pictures). They arrived undamaged; the protective cardboard stuck to the surface in places, but it's easy to wash off. I love the look and heft of these; the surfaces are not machine-smooth, but that adds to their charm; there are no slubs or spiky bits. Be aware that the prong reaches well past the balls in the vertical plane, so if your intent is to use it as a bookend, the prong alone will touch the books.

What can I say? I love this and have been wanting one for a long time! I know buying 2 would make great bookends because this is heavy, yet my bookcases are so full, no bookends are needed. I bought one as a statement piece, I think it’s called that. Anyway, this sure brings back good childhood memories. Playing jacks on the playground in competition or singly, I was good at it and won many games! Others that were similar and priced higher from “fancy, high-end stores” were made of aluminum! Crazy! I want to feel the heft/weight in my hand. The color was slightly different then I remember reading as no rust is present. There are spray paint effects that you can do to make it look rusty or any color you want. I really like the color I got! I’m sure you’ll be as happy with yours as I am with mine! Enjoy!

I love this as an added touch to my rustic living room decor. It's solid, perfect color, and a great conversation starter. It really grabs your attention and stands out, while also fitting in nicely.

I waited until the price went below $10. More than that, it wouldnt be worth it.
