Surprisingly Sturdy and Looks Real
Sorry it's a bit long but I had to give a little background on why I focused on the features I did during the review.I'm paralyzed on my right side and my left is weak so it's a little tough for me to clean some of these types of things when there's pee splashing around for me to dump as I pick it up 1 handed. The tray itself is sturdy but long enough to be a bit awkward and twisty when lifting it 1 handed and shallow enough I could see the issues on the horizon having to empty the pee from it. I'm guessing even 2 handed this might still be an issue for some. I took the liberty of creating a solution.I took a regular potty pad and folded the sides under and placed it under the mat to eliminate that problem. I highly recommend doing that. It makes it so much easier and faster to clean. Plus it gives you the option of the 2nd thing I did to modify it. Make it a connected 1 piece unit with moveable parts. I'm sure I'm not the only one facing these little reasons and thought I'd share the quick fix. Here's the how and why...My grandma's little terrier i just inherited has anxiety issues bad from being bounced from home to home. When she gets stressed she digs like a maniac and anything remotely close to tissue or loose pillowcases is shredded by her nails which is why the regular potty pads weren't an option anymore. Problem became that the grass mat sits loose so first dig she pulled it out of the tray. I took a lighter and a skewer... Heated the plastic tray in 4 tiny spots on the side walls and while it was warm i pushed the skewer through then took little black zip ties and looped them through 2 drainage holes on both ends of the grass and semi loosely through the holes i made on the tray to secure it in place enough to not be thrown but loose enough to be able to easily change the pad under the grass and wash the grass and tray. It also meant by leaning the tray against a wall grass side down it was able to hang and air dry without having to find somewhere to drape a dripping heavy mat because now it functions and moves like a single piece. Bonus!!!I was waiting for this mat to get destroyed the first night and to my surprise after her first attempt to tunnel through it for 15 minutes straight there were maybe 3 or 4 single strands on the carpet. I am blown away that it survived what the canvas pillowcase covered pillows couldn't.It showed up without creases and folds like some others have said and only enough of a plastic rubbery smell that a new plastic storage tote has. And after it had aired out overnight the little bit of rubber smell from the tray had dissipated too.I'm REALLY impressed by it. I do think they should consider making a nicer looking built in version of my modification or add some clips on the corners to hold the mat in place but the little black zip ties match the tray so they're hardly noticeable when tucked underneath until I can get someone to clip the excess off. It took her all of 30 seconds to be comfy sitting on it too. The other little dog is still a bit skeptical, but warming up to it slowly. All in all... Good product. I'd actually recommend it to other pet owners and our family is a hard sell of pet items since my sister is a vet tech and trains service animals as well as shelters rescue animals with major trauma issues. We're all pretty impressed. Wish it actually smelled like grass cuz it certainly looks like it.

High quality plastic. Thick lip over an inch high to prevent leaks. Waterproof.
I use this in the bottom of a mushroom growing tent to catch any water from excess humidity. No assembly came in a box. Fits perfectly under my tent and works great. Would be great for a place to put your shoes and boots.

Arrived cracked, but does the job
Arrived with a crack along the ridge, but does the job of holding work boots as intended

Durable
It was just right. Put under my granddaughter kitchen so she could have water in the sink and not get floor wet.

Dries quickly! My cat loves it!
It takes about a week for the grass to perk up. It came tightly rolled so, with anything just give it time. BUT... my cat actually loves it! Since we have fox that come through our back yard, he has to stay on the porch. This grass makes him feel like he is down in the real grass! Recommend for decks, balconies, it would even be great for indoors as long as it is not being used to toilet an animal.

Good Turf why no Tray?
Sooo before we got this we were using some pee pads for our dog (regular, white pad), and it was working perfectly fine. But then we got a puppy and were having a problem with the puppy peeing all over the house instead of on the peed pads. So we got bigger pads, different pads with charcoal, pee here spray, none of it worked, but when we would take her outside to the grass she instantly knew what to do. So we figured if we bring the grass inside she might go in the same place. I really like the big size of. It seemed to have a reasonable amount of holes under, but I feel like it could have been more. Also, I very much disliked that it came without a tray. It seems they literally only have 1 tray size for the tiny grass. What am I supposed to do with a pee grass and no tray? So I put pee pads under it. But that means I won't save any money because I'll have to keep buying pee pads to put under it to catch the pee. Otherwise, where is the pee going? On the floor? Lmao. Every time you rinse the thing it needs to dry bc you can't just slap it back on the floor like that. In that dry time you can't use it. In the winter it would obviously take longer to dry. What do you do in the meantime? If it had a tray we could just rinse it and put it in the tray and leave it for use the same moment, but no. It came rolled up but once we opened it, it had no problem laying flat. Since I had the per pads under it I can't speak on slip resistance. Not to mention it's yuck if the dog gets diarrhea for whatever reason lmao, but that's any grass pee pad. In the end, we only used it for one night so I can't speak on the smell. But the cats seem to like the grassy feeling, so we cleaned it and will use it as a chill spot for them on the balcony since we are in an apartment and they are indoor cats. I'm basically docking 2 starts for the lack of tray bc that kinda ruins everything. It would be interesting to see other reviews and what they did about the lack of tray, but I saw none.
