Bomely Wireless Charger Tray Compatible with 2015-2018 Chevrolet Silverado GMC Sierra 15W Fast Center Console Wireless Charging Pad Chevy Silverado GMC Sierra Accessories (2015-2018, Fit Full Console)

This wireless charger works well, charges my iPhone 11 Pro fast, and was a fairly easy install. My install was a bit more involved as my 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom (with the jump seat) didn’t come with rear cigarette lighter and USB ports. So, I had to connect my cable to the front ports behind the radio/media control panel. If you order a charger but don’t have a rear port be sure to ask the seller for a 2 meter (6 foot) connector cable. They also have an instructional video that shows you how to install using the front ports. You’ll need a fish tape to run the wire under your carpet. If you have questions the seller is very responsive. I’m not technical at all, if I can do it, it’s not that hard!

The unit was very easy to install. I put my phone in the cradle and it initially was charging my phone but it was getting very hot. After having it for a month it no longer charges my phone and just makes my phone very hot and my phone shut itself off. Charger no longer works. I just opened a service request on Amazon to get it repaired or replaced. I'll let you know how it goes.Update: I contacted Bomely customer support. They were quick to respond and told me that my symptoms happen if my phone has a metal back. My Samsung Galaxy Note S20+ does have a metal back. I asked if it could be a defective charger and they said it was possible. I asked for a replacement and they agreed to send one to me. I received a replacement promptly however the new charger did the same thing. In my experience, I would not recommend this charger. I hope it has not ruined my phone.

The installation is fairly easy and the fit is perfect. Will fit larger phones, but placement of smaller phones has a huge bearing on how well it charges. Definitely recommend using the neoprene strips to help hold phone in place while charging for acceleration and braking. LED light can be distracting at night (very bright and various blink patterns.

I'm not writing this review about the product directly, but the vendor of the product. Oftentimes when you purchase something manufactured and sold from a company in China, you're on your own as far as service goes. Not what I found at all with Cooper 1. I did not realize I needed a longer power cord than what is normally supplied on the Bomely Wireless Charger for my 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD WT. When the product arrived, I quickly discovered that the connections in my WT model were in the lower dash panel, NOT in the back of the center jump seat console. I contacted Cooper 1 and inquired about a longer power supply line, and they informed me they would send me one that will reach the front dash.... wait for it..... free of charge. They didn't even charge me to ship it from Mainland China. In my opinion, this is stellar service. Bravo Cooper 1. NOTE: I have not yet received my power supply line, so I may update this review 😂UPDATE: I received the extension. It works as advertised. If you order the above charging unit for your vehicle & it DOESN'T have rear USB ports, you need to request a 2 meter extension cable.

The package arrived with everything neatly inside. There was a QR code to watch a 3 minute you tube video for installation, and I’d just rewind the part I wanted to see again to be sure I was doing it right. Overall, the installation was very easy, and I’d say that most people could do it without much trouble in about 20-30 minutes.The adapter cord that came with it had a different plug than what was in the video and I was afraid that I’d have to order a different one, or do some cutting and soldering, but then after reading a review where a person said you’d have to cut into the USB cable, I compared the plug to the USB plug and realized that they had upgraded the adapter to fit newer vehicles! Therefore, it worked perfectly in my 2022 Silverado; keep that in mind while you’re watching the installation video. Also, you’ll need a T-15 driver to unscrew two screws in the cup holder and air conditioning panel; this kit doesn’t come with one.The fit and finish is very nice. I wish that the entire tray had a silicone bottom to keep your phone from slipping, and I don’t really like the two silicone hexagons designed to cushion your camera lens because they fall out of the tray when you tilt the lid of the console.It fits and charges my iPhone 11, although it does cause it to get very warm, and the charge rate isn't what my home charger will do, without heating up the phone.Edit: After about a month, the blue LED light quit working altogether. While it still charges, I must now energize the screen to make sure that it is charging.

Update at the end. No longer works.Ok so the charger fits and works great. With following exception. It will not fit the otter box defender case on iPhone 13 promax. And if you take the rubber case off it still will not charge through an otter box defender case plastic for the iPhone 13 promax.Update. Two months after install. Stopped working. Now can’t return it.

This thing is a pile. It never really charged my iPhone 12 Pro Max, it just made the phone very hot to touch. Then bc of terrible battery treatment, had to replace phone. And within about 4 months of use altogether, the charge completely stopped working and is only useful as a storage space. Dumb.

Love love love this wireless charger. Looks and works great! They only give you the t-20 head for the center console, but you will also need a t-15 head for the 2 screws in backseat A/C unit.
