Pudding on a spoon!
My ENT recommended this after diagnosing me with LPR after years of living with Gerd; I was a bit skeptical, but bought it anyway. I can tell you that this is one of the best things I have ever tried, and I was living on omeprazole and enzymes. TUMS are not good for you, I took them for years and only got worse! I have read reviews that said Reflux Gourmet it is too sweet, but I disagree. Personally, I like pudding and to me it has the texture of pudding, very easy to swallow, with a minty chocolate taste. The texture is smooth. At times it reminds me of the minty flavor of toothpaste, but in a refreshing way. I have already decided, I am also going to purchase the caramel for my daughter who also suffers with heartburn. โค๏ธโ๐ฅ The LPR had become so bad for me that I felt like something was cutting my throat; I suffered with this for months, many times I even lost my voice! After doing research, I realized that this could cause me to lose my voice permanently, so to me it was a no-brainerโฆ get help no matter what it costs! For months, I had no clue that it was related to reflux, so I suffered silently! I seriously thought I was sick with something that would not go away, so I lived on cough drops for months, which did not help at all! I donโt like wasting money, but to me anything that is a fix that actually works, is worth $30, (a trip to the Doctor cost me far more than that!) It is a large tube, eight fluid ounces! It doesnโt get any simpler than carrying a tube that you can squirt onto a spoon anywhere, even in a restaurant or at work, on vacation, at church, you name it, carry it in a bag or a purse or a suitcase and you have relief at your fingertips! Everybody has their own opinion, but I will say that I read a comment that stated they squirted it all over ice cream, probably not wise considering my doctor said to stick to 1 teaspoon full, per meal and at bedtime. I donโt know that squirting it on ice cream would be ideal. If you are reading this comment because you are suffering, I hope I have helped you in someway. At least give it a try, itโs about the price of six gourmet lattes! See photo below of a small sample of what it looks like.

Works and tastes great. Even a travel version.
Iโve had acid reflux for years and recently it had gotten worse. My gastro guy suggested I take 2 doses of the acid reflux stuff that works for me. Iโm one of those people that need to use Prevacid (Lansoprazole) versus the others to get relief. At one point I had burn spots the length of my esophagus that was causing chest pains, so it was bad. I got the burn spots under control, but despite taking 2 pills every day of Lansoprazole, I still felt pretty rocky in the AM. Initially I just took 2 in the AM and then switched to 1 in the AM, 1 in the PM, but still there was that irritation in the AM. Still I was on a high dose. A former colleague of mine when we had a Christmas get together passed on information for this reflux gourmet stuff. Honestly I was skeptical at first. However you hear horror stories about long term uses of meds like lansoprazole and I was at a high dose for several years. This stuff looked a whole lot safer, if it worked. Well it worked. From the first day to the tenth. I take a teaspoon of this at bedtime and I wake up, irritation free. While I still take 1 lansoprazole in the AM, I plan to discontinue that as well. Not sure if I will need a teaspoon of this to take its place or not, as my biggest issue is at night. No hard ship, though, it is tasty. Cost wise the lansoprazole was $13 for 42 pills. For me that was $0.62/day, if I take 2 pills/day This tube has 47 servings at $28. So that would be $0.59/day if I take it once/day. So it is also at a better cost, without the side effects.

Not very effective and too expensive
EDIT: The makers of this hunted me down and gave me a full refund for the product for it not working. Much of the time this is all that's really needed. You can get pretty much anything anywhere but good customer service is what makes people loyal I used to have fairly bad acid reflux, causing lots of gagging and coughing, acid in the throat, worse in the evening. Treatments with omeprazole worked almost perfectly, but I didn't want to keep taking it due to possible damage to gut bacteria. Enough omeprazole and diet changes have gotten rid of the coughing and acid in the throat but I still occasionally get gagging and upset stomach. Doctor suggested this in lieu of omeprazole. They openly admit the primary ingredient tastes terrible so they have to cover it with sugar, and this worked perfectly, it tastes good. The 8 ounce tube supposedly claims to have 47 servings but one teaspoon of this after each meal just isn't good enough. Its effects are pretty mild and tend to wear out quickly. It's been a week and my current tube is more than half empty. For the minimal relief I'm getting from it, 25 dollars is too much and it's not worth it.

Good Product but Expensive
I like this product, and I think it helped a little bit. I took it only at night before I went to bed. I had the chocolate mint version, and it tasted pretty good. However, the cost of it was not worth my continued use. I didnโt get that much benefit out of it to justify the cost.

ENT Recommended
My ENT recommended this item. It seems to help as I'm no longer taking other reflux medications. It feels like I'm having a spoon full of dessert when used after meals and/or before bedtime, as recommended.
