I don't know if I've ever written an amazon review before, but I'm doing it for this product. My doctor recommended RG to me while I was healing after taking a medication for years that wreaked havoc on my digestive tract. RG helped so much with reducing my acid reflux right away and facilitating the healing I was trying to do. It doesn't hurt that I didn't mind the taste at all, or taking it after meals. I wouldn't have used it if my doctor hadn't recommended it to me, but now I've already purchased multiple packs. Strongly recommend

This is the most AMAZING product ever for acid reflux. I have been having a raspy voice on and off for over a year and some labored talking as if something was irritating my throat. My wonderful girlfriend suspected I had acid reflux and introduced me to this product, and after one dose my throat was starting to feel better and my voice was getting clearer. This is a very effective remedy for a mucus block or GERD. Recommend to me by my allergy doctor as an all natural remedy for these conditions. Basically brown kelp and flavoring. I use it before bedtime only and it works! Follow the directions on the packet.

This was pretty effective to stop heartburn as an emergency measure. It was pretty effective but did raise my glucose

This was recommended to me by an ENT doctor that i saw recently. From day one, it eliminated the nightly gastric reflux problems that had been plaguing me, and it also helped immensely with the post nasal problems I'd been having for years, with repetitive throat clearing and coughing. It may not work as well for everyone, but I'd suggest trying it. I wish I'd found it years ago .

Being a post-viral, onset LPR sufferer in the last couple of years, I was absolutely stoked to discover this product. I was quite familiar with the symptom-relieving benefits of alginate treatments (for some people) and have had moderate relief with Gaviscon Advance in the past. With the Advance being only available in Canada or Europe, like so many other reflux sufferers, we end up paying a fortune for the product and not always having the best of luck with benefits. I for one, feel Gaviscon Advance does improve my symptoms at times, but would absolutely jump at an alginate-based product that could compete in price, taste & effectiveness. Reflux Gourmet accomplishes the first two in a beautiful way. Reasonably priced and individually packaged; it adds the benefit of a product that is perfect for on-the-go, travel and discreetness. No more carrying the big, cumbersome brown Gaviscon bottle around if you are going anywhere! The flavor profiles are amazing. Personally, I don't mind the anise flavor of G.A.; in fact, I rather like it. For most people though, anything giving off a black licorice flavor is an immediate "no". Reflux Gourmet offers 2 varieties in this pack: Vanilla/Caramel and Mint and both are absolutely delicious. It's definitely night and day difference from the medicinal anise profile of Gaviscon. Unfortunately, where I have the hesitancy, is in it's effectiveness. After a couple of months of using this product off and on during Silent Reflux/LPR flair-ups, I can't honestly say it has been a significant factor in temporary relief of symptoms. There is a considerable lack of overall effectiveness and most definitely a decline from G.A.-level effectiveness in the mornings when I struggle with mucus overload. I just don't get the moderate levels of relief I believe I was getting with Gaviscon Advance. Sure, everyone's body and circumstances are different, but for me, I'm ready to go back and re-compare.

so far I am noticing a difference. I haven't had to take any antacids and less gas-x since starting this a week ago! Plus the bonus is the great flavor and easy to take

Reflux gourmet is actually a lifesaver. I’m really glad that I have it and use it. I take it with another medication and it helps me. I haven’t needed it as much lately with my new medication however I won’t do without it. I just wish that they would lower the price and be more competitive. It’s very expensive. It would be nice if it was covered by insurance or if you could buy it with your FSA card.

It is not suitable for me, but I cannot return it. It is expensive, doesn't help me and such a waste of money. The sugar level is so high, it is too sweet! The mint chocolate flavour is awful, the caramel is a bit better. But it is too sweet for those severe GERD/LPR person even to swallow it.
