The Pencil sleeve arrives well packaged, with all the contents securely stowed, and all the listed parts accounted for. The sleeve looks very nice. The shape is somewhat like a teardrop, which fits nicely in the hand for holding. The material is a comfortable silicone-like material that is true to the Apple Pencil color, feels good to the hand, very smooth, and providing a slight cushioning to the grip. The magnetic attraction between the iPad and the grip is sufficient to hold fast under use around the Home or Office. It is possible that the Pencil could be dislodged with a passing blow, and so I would not use it as a primary means by which to store the pencil when out and about. This Pencil sleeve is best seen as a Pencil grip, with a means of laying down the Pencil such that it doesn’t roll away, or for light transport about the Home or Office, where, if it becomes dislodged, you have a somewhat reasonable chance at finding it. The sleeve is something you will be comfortable with leaving on the Pencil, even if you are storing the Pencil by a different means, for transport. An overall good choice and excellent value. Just don’t assume you can trust it to secure the Pencil to the tablet under all conditions.

Really like the grip that this sleeve gives the apple pencil. The feeling is like that of a Pentel's Twist Erase mechanical pencil which is my favorite pencil. Smooth yet grippy. The magnetic strip prevents the pencil from rolling and provides just enough of an edge/bump that makes holding the pencil in any position very comfortable. Magnets are very strong and I have no problem leaving my pencil on my ipad screen when I'm using it (mostly towards the long edges), but it also works very well with Apple's smart keyboard cover because I can just leave my apple pencil stuck on the outside when I don't want to slide it into the elastic sleeve on the back of my case. When I leave it stuck on my case magnetically it can survive quite the shake and not fall off. I probably wouldn't count on always leaving it attached to the case and not losing it, but as a grad student it works well for constant use and carrying my ipad around in my backpack.

Great grip for the Apple Pencil. 5 stars because it was easy to put on and could easily be removed. It’s a soft latex/rubber texture. This is an essential for anyone that uses the pencil for writing notes. I was getting pain and cramping from constantly holding the pen for taking notes in clas. My hands were getting sweaty and slippery, and now that doesn’t happen at all with this grip. I really like it and it is worth the money. The grip is a nice shape and fits perfectly in hand. I would recommend to anyone using the Apple Pencil. It comes with two magnets, not the cap holder. The cap holder is from the same brand and was purchased separately.

I purchased this because I was hoping for something to soften up my grip on the Apple Pencil. When I write for long periods of time, my fingers tend to get sore from the pressure of holding the pencil. In this regard, the sleeve does help. I notice less pain when I write. I was hoping it would be a little softer. It's pretty dense and does not really squish, but it does help. That being said, the material feels very "solid" and not cheap at all. What really surprised me was how much I love the magnet feature. It's incredibly convenient for me to be able to stick the pencil on the side of my iPad, and it just sticks there! I think the magnet strength is perfect; it's not crazy strong but just enough to keep it attached even if you turn the device upside down. One thing to note - the magnet does create a ridge-like bulge on the side of the sleeve, so it's not a uniform cylinder shape. Writing with this bulge, it felt a little strange to me at first, although now I am used to it. All things considered, I would definitely buy this product again. Just be aware it's not a squishy-soft grip like some of the ones you find on pens these days.

Magnets on the product are strong. Magnets in the iPad not so much. Good enough to attach while watching a video, not go enough to leave on while moving around (like at school) without worrying about it. This changes if you have a Smart Cover (3rd party or not) as the magnets there are stronger and closer to the surface. I didn’t want to purchase a case with a pencil holder because I like to use my iPad without the pencil at home and only use the pencil for school. With the Smart Cover the pencil attaches very very firmly to the Cover, well enough that it only comes loose when I shake it violently. Very good. I didn’t even know it came with magnetic strips, it was a good surprise. Haven’t used them but just from testing them they see, to be about similar strength to the ones on the bare iPad. That is good enough to attach to anything but not enough to travel with. Can’t speak for the adhesive on the back of them as I haven’t used them but I can say that they are slightly concave, making them nice to attach on the side of a case with rounded edges as most tend to have

This is one accessory I had been waffling over getting for the longest time, and decided on a whim this week to throw it in with another order of accessories for my iPad. I have to say, this thing seems like a very honest, utilitarian little thing to help affix the pencil to your iPad for easy carry. I will judge 5 stars for it as fair: The price and the value for being able to stick your Apple Pencil to your iPad, regardless of whether or not you are using it in a case, outweighs any future cons that I have yet to see with this little guy. I purchased my iPad 9.7 in 2018 as a portable sketchbook and notebook. I'm still somewhat of a hobbyist artist, and whatever larger illustrations I do, I prefer to do on my PC. As such, I don't use the pencil so often that I can't afford the ~30 mintues it takes to fully charge it, which I can do without impeding my workflow overmuch. So, I couldn't justify the upgrade even as far as using it for my craft is concerned. So, I turned to this grip as an alternative to having to use an awkward, bulky adhesive grip or sleeve attached to my case. I am so happy with my decision. The grip will fix itself to both long edges of the iPad itself (though I found that the one beneath the power button is a bit stronger), as well as to both my Smart Cover and my third party folding case. Of course magnets will wear down over time - however long that will take - but for 10 bucks I am perfectly fine with having to replace it maybe once or twice during the 5~ years I hope to keep my standard iPad 9.7 before finally upgrading. Plus, I can keep the cap cover on my iPad while carrying it together - something I could not do except with the frankly ugly adhesive solutions. Would 100% recommend, especially if you want the basic utility of keeping your Pencil with your iPad, but without the ~700+$ price tag of both pencil and iPad upgrade. Will probably pick up another in one more color as a backup if/when this one fails or gets damaged.

Pretty good, and mostly does what I hoped it would. It's a simple silicone sleeve with a magnetic strip on one side. As such, and because that strip needs to be flat to properly adhere to either the other strips provided that you can secure other places if desired or to the cover/iPad pro, this makes the sleeve a bit odd in shape, but nothing that inhibits use. Although I find the magnet helpful when moving, say to another room - I can flip the lid shut on my 10.5 Pro's case and stick the Pencil to the outside - the main reason I got it we for the textured surface. I find the Apple Pencil very slick and because of it's slight weight (making for great balance) it feels like retouching images with a rod of glass. It just "felt" like it was slipping even when it wasn't. So this provides enough traction without throwing other things off. One could probably use the old fashioned pencil sponges from the school supply section at your local store, but I store the Apple Pencil in this Smatree Pencil Holder Case for Apple Pencil when not actively in use, and anything much thicker than tis would have to be removed after each use. There is enough room to store the Pencil magnet-up in the case because the silicone is much thinner than on many of the other options. Overall good, but pricey when you consider what it is.

You won't loose your pencil because this accessory has magnet which connects to flip cover/ipad 2018. I really love it.

I’m the type of person to leave my Apple Pencil somewhere and break it by accident so this is perfect for me. It feels smooth when you put it in and it’s snug so it won’t fall off. Thankfully it came with two magnetic strips that I put around my desk for when I’m working, it works great! It doesn’t stick THAT well to the iPad but it does what it needs to do so I don’t mind. It also just looks great, so I’d recommend it if you need something to keep track of your pencil.

El producto viene perfectamente embalado y llego correctamente. El que yo he comprado es de color blanco y creo que ahora me estoy arrepintiendo del color porque veo que se va a poner negro. Es como una silicona blanca que recoge todo el polvo. Veremos como va. Por su utilidad, va perfecto. Se pega a la funda del iPad pro como una lapa. Va fenomenal. Además, el accesorio te ayuda a escribir porque te permite apoyar los dedos sobre la superficie de silicona, lo cual va fenomenal. El accesorio para pegarlo al mac no lo he utilizado porque la verdad es que se pega tanto, que cuando lo quitas, se lleva consigo el accesorio. Quizás no lo pegue bien. Una lastima, aunque no lo veo del todo necesario. Lo volvería a comprar sin duda, eso si, posiblemente de otro color.

Cumple bien su función, se resbala un poco y no tiene muy buen agarre para escribir pero sostiene bien el Apple Pencil sobre el iPad que es lo que más me importaba.
