Reader required basic knowledge of signs and houses to use this book. Author includes a number of useful techniques that should be used in analyzing a horoscope. Book is written in lucid and easy to read style. Their are some typographical errors but they do not amount to much. It is recommended that this book be read at least twice to absorb the wealth of knowledge and intricacies of the subject. It is to be noted that M S Mehta was K N Rao's student and faculty at Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi. 'Om tat sat' Review: Many examples have been deliberately manipulated - There are a LOT of chart errors and WORSE, these seem to be deliberate in order to fit the narrative. I am hugely disappointed as Mehta (author) is supposed to be very good and K N Rao (guide, editor) is hugely respected Ex. 1: see the chart for Helen Keller in the chapter on Ketu. The Lagna has been shifted to Taurus so that Ke appears to be in H2. In the real chart, Lagna is in Scorpio (lahiri). I have uploaded an image. Ex. 2: Similar error with chart for Lord Byron where the printed Dob does not match the actual. Ex. 3: And yet again, another few paragraphs later, Jayne Mansfield is described as having been raped and beheaded, but she was never raped. Ex. 4: The chart for Queen Elizabeth has been sloppily and deliberately manipulated. The Lagna has been moved to Capricorn, but the actual real Lagna position is also shown as Sagittarius. See image. I validated all dates and times of birth from external sources. These are deliberate errors, affecting mostly non-Indian charts. There is a pattern; charts that have been manipulated, seldom show the full birth data. Charts that have not been manipulated, show full birth data. Unforgivable. And surprised that so many other readers giving 5 stars have not picked up on such deliberate manipulation to suit the narrative.
