Modern Sugar Flowers: Contemporary cake decorating with elegant gumpaste flowers

I started making sugar flowers just this year and had been using YouTube tutorials to teach myself. However, YouTube can only take one so far, so when I found out about Jacqueline's book, I was thrilled. Modern Sugar Flowers is beautifully photographed and thoughtfully written, making it easy to follow. She starts at the basics and ends with fully realized, multi tiered and decorated cakes. Even when I'm not currently making anything, I find myself leafing through it just because it's so pretty to look at! I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

If you love sugar flowers and long to learn how to make them, this is your book! Its gorgeous to look at, instructions are clearly written and easy to follow! I love this book and I definitely recommend it!

I adore Jacqueline work and this book was worth the wait...Was on a two week waiting list then It took a week to arrive But I have been reading this book like a bedtime story everynight before bed... It is a labour of love...one of the most detailed books in sugar I have come across....and being a cake designer I have alot alot of books in sugar and this is detailed down to the last details...llol Love it

Her style is fresh, modern, and attentive to detail, producing lifelike flowers like none other.

Beautiful pictures. Great photo breakdown of the steps. Great list and pictures of tools. A good selection of filler flowers, leaves and focal point flowers. A great section on arranging the flowers on multiple tiers. This book will give you the basics you need to be able to use some of the other books that don't have the detailed directions.

All what I need, love it

I've been making gumpaste flowers for years but needed some ideas for more flowers. This book provided step by step directions on making simple to complex flowers. Mine didn't look exactly like hers but the book provided some excellent techniques.

Fotos muy gráficas. Solo se me dificulta entender las instrucciones pq no se Inglés. Pero por lo demás excelente manual!

Absolutely loved this e book. Being only a hobbyist I was extremely happy with the details in both written instructions and photos . So much so that I made my first batch of gum paste and freesias with no trouble at all . The time and attention putting this book together has certainly paid off . Jacqueline was also very helpful in her reply to my questions via email regarding sourcing the petal dust here in Australia . I have now purchased this book in hardcover . I certainly recommend this book to anyone whatever skill level you are, buy it for yourself or it would make a prefect gift.

El libro es fantástico, con muchas fotos explicativas, y viene como hacer la flor cerrada, abierta, en capullo... una joya para quien guste de hacer este tipo de flores.
