I love these for my beginners! I have an art studio, and I offer free classes to children with emotional challenges that do not do well in traditional therapy. I needed a cost effective means to provide canvas type art exercises, and these boards helped provide that at a fraction of the price of traditional canvases. They cure well and when gessoed, handle a large volume of paint well. However, if not primed properly, they will buckle with alit of moisture. I don't think they work well with any type of pour painting, and a couple of times, the canvas lifted from the cardboard backing as the paintings cured. Definitely not a good fit for watercolours. Nice, simple, fairly sturdy for multimedia work, mind they aren't overly wetted or worked. Slim thickness, and perfect for framing.

I started learning to paint with acrylics three months ago. For learning, I wanted something less expensive and less bulky than a framed canvas. These are perfect, and I have not had any trouble with them. I'm using paint brushes and I am NOT doing acrylic pouring. I've used other size Arteza panels too with no problem. I felt compelled to write this review because of all the negative reviews about the quality. I almost didn't buy these because of those reviews. I think the problem is only for those doing paint pouring. If the company changes these for paint pouring, I'm afraid the price will go up, and I'd rather not pay more for a feature I don't need.

These canvas boards are perfect for my oil paintings. The paint spreads easily, unlike some other brands I have tried. The board canvases make it easier to ship my paintings to customers without worry of them getting dented. I've never had any canvas peeling, warping, or bending. The multil pack is very handy as well. I sell my paintings on Etsy under the name SaraBachArt.

While you get a great deal and a variety of sizes. My first order there were a few pieces damaged. Amazon fixed the problem right away and I got new canvases the next day. No charge. They are great for practice . But I did notice that the first day I used a fan to dry one of my pieces and it turned out great. The second day I did not and the canvas started to come up and peel away from the board its on and it warped because of the wet paint sitting on it. Kind disappointed but know to just always use a fan to dry those types of canvases.

Nice quality canvas. You can apply the paint thick or thin it easily and looks great.

This canvas is smoother than art alternate canvas panel but also lighter. I also bought Blick Belgium linen canvas panel. That one is thicker than this but worp a little upon arrival. The Blick canvas panel is around 7 dollars each. Consider the price I would definitely go for this one. Besides, since the surface is smooth, it can handle detail work. I paint one mandala to test the canvas and my new brushes. The larger part is quiet joy, the fine line takes more effort as the paint would skip the valley between ridges and left the white dot (or probably I should use more thinner LOL). After all, I like the feel of how paint glides on the surface. Would like to stock more when it has deal.

Paint the backs and let dry before painting the front to reduce warping. Best canvas boards on the market. Frame the finished painting to keep the board from warping over time. UPDATE MAY 2020 I’m having a terrible time with these boards. My old technique of painting the back is just not working. Even after thorough drying, the backs become unglued and the canvas slides out and forms wings on the side of the board. These are not meant for pouring I don’t think. I used to use them for acrylic experiments before pouring on a big canvas but they used to come out so nice that I kept them. But it’s not worth the expense because of the glue issue. I might as well just pour on cardboard that I gesso ahead of time.

Ich habe letztes Jahr angefangen mit Acrylfarben zu malen und als Anfänger habe ich nicht auf Leinwand sondern auf Malkarton begonnen. Mein Urteil als Anfänger: Der Malkarton ist von guter Qualität und auf jeden Fall ausreichend um Erfahrungen beim Malen mit Acrylfarben zu sammeln. Er ist auch preiswerter als die Alternative die ich mir zuvor besorgt hatte. Manche der Kartons habe ich auch schon mit Malgrund übermalt und wieder benutzt; das geht auch.

Der Artikel wurde in der Nachbarschaft gefunden und an mich nach Hause gebracht. Daher brauche ich keinen Ersatz. Alles ok, danke!!!

Very good value for money. They are useful for acrylic oil and water colour. Made from cotton fibres make is easier to paint professional or less. They can be used for rough practice. There's also a 5% to 10% off if you subscribe to the promotions offered. The canvases have a board making it easier to paint. Good product for beginners and intermediates even the most adept can use these canvases. I will admit, they looked bigger when I ordered them but it is still a great canvas and will be useful for my needs so I'm still happy with this product.
