I was so hesitated to get it but I took the chance .. and glad I did Today was the 3rd time I am using it and I already saw the results since the 1st use. I see the hair is falling, additionally really really short, and I've seen several areas with hair loss too, most reviews said you gotta buy an adapter but mine came with a new one already wrapped in a plastic bag inside the box .. so happy Oh and yes, this IPL made in UK .. that's why I made the purchase. Note: I used my sunglasses 🕶 😎 instead of buying a protective glasses .. I saved money and it worked for me Update after 2 years: I followed the directions, used it once a week for 12 consecutive weeks then as needed, after my 12 weeks I only used it twice a year or as needed .. I am completely hair free, I used it on my armpits , legs and arms and the hair is 100% gone , I have no follicles at all .. I'm so glad I made the purchase. Update in 2025 ( after 3 years of use) .. still hair free on the area i used it on .... and I'm buying another one for my sister and girls.

I just received this and I am impressed. I have another IPL device that was a $70 Chinese no-brand, and it is a piece of junk. The SmoothSkin Pure is stellar. The packaging is beautiful, the design is beautiful, the sensors are amazing, and the speed is OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD. It is at least 6x faster than the cheap $70 one I already owned. I don't know about you, but spending over an hour doing legs alone is not fun. With SmoothSkin Pure I did both legs (VERY thoroughly) in about 10 minutes. I can feel the difference between this SmoothSkin Pure and the cheap Chinese one I continue to mention. Do not be fooled by cheap Chinese products that state that it's "high powered" because it has 16-20j/cm2, it's a sham. The Smoothskin pure is made in the UK, not China. Everything about this product showcases superior craftsmanship and quality. This product has also been FDA cleared. China does not have the same laws or regulations that the UK and USA does. Not to mention both the UK and USA do not use slave labor either. The difference is kind of like this, buying a 2008 HP cheapo laptop vs a brand new top-of-the-line MacBook. Which would you rather have? Especially sine you will be using this on your SKIN/BODY! I will admit I have only used this one time as I just received it today, 3/4/22, but I am extremely confident in the product. I will update over the next couple of months :)

I got this after seeing a comparison review of this vs the Braun Pro 5 that recommended this device and said it was "a little less faff". I think that is a excellent description. The slightly lower price was appreciated. As a first-time user of IPL, there was almost no learning curve to get into using it. It's comfortable to grip and use. The pain was mild much less than waxing (sometimes it didn't even hurt at all) and the strong smell of burning hair showed it's definitely doing something. Hopefully results will be good.

This unit is rated for an unlimited number of flashes. However after less than 200 flashes it started working intermittently for a day or two and then it quit all together it will not flash at all so I put in for a return and said ship the same item to me as a replacement and when I got that one the exact same thing happened almost exactly the same thing. I should have read the reviews before I bought this

I know I’m a guy and have always been pretty hairy so it’s going to take longer but I’m still not seeing a whole lot of progress being made after 9 weeks of steady and recommended treatments. I’m still going to give it the full course. We’ll see. Too late to get my money back now anyways.
