Device works great, completely happy but it is annoying when using it to roll over muscles and it lands on its flat side and stops rolling. Annoying but I could live with it, until I realised it had marked my walls everytime it has done so as it was vibrating and the flat side was leaving indentations up the wall. I'm only continuing to use it to not be wasteful but I'll be sure it get a completely round design next time.

I bought two different kinds to see the difference. The Vulken brand was $30, so I wanted to see if it was relatively close in quality to this one which is three times more expensive. It turns out massaging units seem to be one of those things that you get what you pay for. I get constant knots in my back that need quite a bit of pressure. I used to use a tennis ball. What I do is set it on the ground and then roll my back over it along the muscle that is knotted up. The tennis ball works okay but when I saw that they make ones that vibrate as well I wanted to give them a try. So when I got both of them I did the same thing I always do which is to put it on the ground and roll my back over it. The cheap one couldn't handle the pressure. I had it on the highest setting and it dropped to the point where it was just barely vibrating. I am pretty sure that if I did it for any longer it would have broken. Then I tried this one, the Therabody Wave, and it didn't falter at all. Even on the lowest setting and with the full weight of my torso on it (and I'm a big fat guy), it didn't even slow down at all. It was like nothing was on it. I was amazed! I've used it now several times a week on different knots and it loosens them up and relieves my pain within just a few minutes of using it. I absolutely love this thing! It's worth every penny!

This massage ball is great for a single person with a chair. It’s great for hitting the smalls of your back and to pinpoint positions in the back that you can’t reach. We had originally returned the first shipment because it broke on us, but the warranty provided us a new one. It’s not very good for your legs or if you use your hand as support, it’s best used with a chair or wall.
