Honestly these are great. I was bitten once on the foot when wearing these and it was probably an ant not a mosquito. Often wear on my wrist and ankle for all round protection and plenty of colours so the kids like them. No massively smelly so a good blend of effectiveness and cost.

I bought these in 2024 after we came back from turkey bitten to shreds by mozzies, this year we took them with us when we went back to turkey for our 2025 holiday - id forgotten about them but thought they why not give them a try?!? they looked nice and feel comfortable ! We as a family of four returned yesterday after wearing these for 7 days in stupid heat and not one bite was received ! Will absolutely buy again

I bought the Pestects Mosquito Repellent Bracelets with some doubt before traveling to India, but to my surprise, they actually worked quite well! They provided good protection against mosquitoes, and I liked that they are DEET-free and safe for both adults and kids.However, I noticed that once the bracelet gets damp or wet, its effectiveness decreases, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that, when dry, it does the job well and lasted a good amount of time.Overall, a great natural alternative for repelling mosquitoes—just keep them dry for the best results!

I can see from other reviews that these have worked for most people, unfortunately this was not the case with us.We bought two packs of these for our trip to Philippines, knowing that during this time of year there are a lot of mosquitoes. Whilst they seemed to work for the first few days in the city, once we reached a more rural area they just seemed to stop working. We even got bites around the bands even though we all wore two, on the wrist and ankle as suggested.Perhaps if you are just visiting a city these might work really well, but not as much in the countryside.Also be wary about using light coloured towels or clothing with these as the colours will bleed and stain.The packaging says the scent lasts for 20 days, but we found it lasted for maybe 4 or 5 days at most.You may need to get someone to tie these for you as doing it yourself can be a bit fiddly.Whilst I love the idea and aesthetics of these, unfortunately they did not work as well as we hoped.

Use these together with plug in’s overnight and repellent after sun too. They look great and kids like to wear them too, no bites so far.

Love these. Not messy or sticky but they work!! For years I have been insect bait - every holiday been to urgent care due to bites. Gardening and walking my dog through woodland has always resulted in obtaining a few bites. Since purchasing these 2 years ago the only insect bites I have had are on the occasions I forgot to wear one,

Easiest way to wear bug repellent

Bought as they were all over my socials last summer and I get bitten by everything. They are pretty, but did not keep the mossies away. When sitting in the sun, the colour from the band would bleed onto my skin, same when i went into sea, pool or shower. So you need to keep taking them on and off, to prevent having coloured dye on your skin and clothes.Sadly as waste of money.
