Best solar combiner package for the price.
This product came mostly assembled. Internal build quality is 100% spot on. The price point is incredible. Comes loaded with four solar panel fuses, a lighning/surge suppresor and a dual-pole DC circuit breaker that goes to the charging controller. Looks great and has a locking door. The key is a bit primitive, but it seems it seems it is meant as a cabinet key - not a security key.I am beginning to like this VEVOR

Good value
For the price, I’d say this is great value. I could quibble about the lack of a breather vent/drain for the enclosure if using in a location subject to condensation. I would have preferred a plain handle to open it rather than a key which fall out. If you need to isolate PV in a hurry you don’t want to be looking for the key. I tied it with cord to the box bracket so it can’t get dropped and lost. Once again, a good value from Vevor.

A very nice semi DIY solar combiner box
It's actually a lot better than what I thought it would be, all of the wires have ferrules Properly crimped on the ends and the bus bar across the top of the fuses, fuse housing very nice touch makes for a very clean install. The box is a very strong plastic and the clamps on them are actually safety clamps. You have to push the bottom lever To pull them up to get it to open, so I'm very happy, if I ever need another one, this will be my go to combiner box. One note People complaining about the wire color really? That's the problem you have? because technically you can use any color you want it could all be the same color so for everyone else ignore those this is a great combiner box.

Precut wires were too long.
It was as stated but the wires that were precut and had crimps on the ends were too long.

Works well with solar panel system
This box works well with our portable solar panel/battery system. One word of caution: be sure to check the fine print inside the box that indicates the polarity. The decal showing the output polarity is very small and difficult to read. Be sure to check thisbefore you mount the box and hook everything up.

Have solar with more than one string? You need this
I was disappointed that it all had to be put together...busy work, but for the cost...yeah but no...then the unit failed to transfer power through it...power goes in...but not out...worse yet it is not through amazon so I need to wait for the vendor to send a label...never again. Their customer service cannot accept the fact I bought a unit that works and I do not want the one they sent...they are refusing refund...it is boxed up waiting on a label.

Not a plug and play item.
This is not a plug and play item. Assembly is required. The fuse blocks are roughly installed on the DIN rail. The locking block is on the wrong side of the DIN rail. Causing fuse #1 unable to be opened. Move the locking block to the correct side and it fixed the problem.Wire quality is of unknown condition. It states 2.5 mil (aka 12 awg) wire for the leads but the jumper wires from the fuse block to the breaker is unknown size and the jacket is unknown quality. It does appear to be a PVC jacket on the wire, so I will not recommend going above 300 volt DC.The wire diagrams follow the Chinese standard. Red is hot, blue is neutral, and yellow/green stripe is ground. In this case, red is positive, blue is negative and ground is not really marked except for a sticker next to a wire connecting the door electrically to the frame. There is nowhere in this box to connect to ground.I install industrial solar for a living. I'm using this for a small off-grid setup at home. The equipment I work on is several million USD.Overall this is a decent beginner box. As long as you have some electrical knowledge and know how to assemble a DIN rail.
