What are the dimensions? Im trying to find a vest that will fit a petite 6 yr old.

I wish I could tell you. I bought it for my five-year-old to wear in the Bahamas last year and it fit her great. She wore it again this year to be in Panama City Beach where someone stole it. Or I could’ve given you the dimensions. She is 44 inches tall and weighs 44 pounds she’s not a big girl and it fit her great. I can’t tell you that she did say that the strap that goes between her legs was a little uncomfortable.

I have a small 3 year old daughter who only weighs 30 lbs. Would this vest fit her or will it be too big?

my granddaughter is 7 and weights 40 lbs. It fits her fine and will doso for several years. The strap can be tightened to fit a smaller kid. Hope this helps. Quality is very good

I agree with the other responses that it will be a little big but should work fine with the adjustable straps. My son is 6 and ~55 lbs. It was a good fit for him. I never worried about his head coming through the neck hole since there are two straps: one around the back and one between the legs. There's a lot of strap length available.
