Lodge Sportsman's Pro Cast Iron Grill, 9 x 16.75 Inches

I've been a Lodge fan for a long time, but I had no idea that they made a Hibachi grill. When I was looking for a small grill I found this. It arrived today. It is so well made, solid and heavy cast iron, I know it will last a lifetime. It has a very simple design and it cooks perfectly. Oh and it's made in the USA! I have no regrets with this one.

Product arrived with a box within a box. Outside box was big for the product box inside and USPS dis a good job of not tearing up the outside . The product is MADE IN THE USA and that is a plus! I was tempted to to buy a similar product made in other part of world, but for a few dollars more this is excellent quality and well made. I recommend this grill.

I love this other than its handy its also heavy duty. Just have to make sure to clean it after using co it gets rusty easily.

I bought this in June 2024. I cook with cast iron all the time, so a cast iron grill was a no-brainer for me. This thing is a tank. Very solid and built to last. That said, there are a few things people should know going in. When I first got mine, the base felt a little wobbly. The issue turned out to be the bolts on the base, either over-tightened or under-tightened during assembly. Once I adjusted them, it sat solid. If you plan to move it around, be aware the ash pan doesn’t have any kind of retainer. If the grill tilts while carrying it, the ash pan can slide out. Since it’s cast iron, it’s not going to take many drops before it cracks. Also, if you’re not used to cast iron, this grill does require proper care and seasoning. If you skip that, it will rust and turn into a heavy, unusable piece of iron pretty quick. Pros: Very solid, heavy-duty build True cast iron, holds heat well Great option if you already use cast iron Cons: May need adjustment out of the box to sit level Ash pan can slide out when moving it Requires regular seasoning and maintenance Bottom line: This is a great grill if you understand cast iron and are willing to take care of it. I would buy it again, just know what you’re getting into.

As a smaller grill it out performs your expectations . This is the last grill I will ever have to buy.

Bought this for my husband without knowing anything about grills. He has used it sooo many times and was shocked by its high quality. I wanted something portable because he loves to camp and fish. I’d give it more stars if I could. Assembly took less than a minute because the parts are all sturdy and ready to go. It is quite heavy which for us is a plus because we know this will last forever.

Top quality and sturdy. Assembly is easy. One batch of charcoal and the grill stays hot for a long time. Temperature is easy to control. Easily cooks 8 large sausages or 4 medium sized steaks. Amazing results are possible. Wipe down with a rag and vegetable oil before and afterwards. Store in a reasonably dry place. With good simple care, I expect to get decades of good use.

Well they do make them like they use too! Thick cask iron. Perfect BBQ
