It's fantastic! I bought this for a 2015 Toyota Camry XLE although I wasn't sure where to put it. I purchased this particular product as it made no sense at all to purchase something to go on a vent that would obstruct air flow and potentially damage/scratch the air vent slats. Upon placing it on the dashboard, I was skeptical about it slipping and sliding but it hasn't! I have moved it several times and it has not damaged or left any markings on the dashboard and it still holds up splendidly and does not slip or slide. I have an iPhone and it is a bit thin to use with the case I currently have on it since it's a magnetic case that comes with a wallet (also purchased on Amazon and I LOVE it!) but it doesn't slide or slip out of the phone clip/holder part which amazed me. I have only tried it in landscape/horizontal mode but I do plan to test the portrait/vertical position in the very near future. Highly recommended!!!

Serves its purpose and does it nicely. I have a Samsung S7 Edge, in a protective case, and the phone clamps do a more than adequate job of holding my phone in place. When I purchased this dash mount holder I was a little concerned that it would be too tight of a fit, or not fit at all. But I had no reason for concern. In fact, when I grabbed my phone while it was still on the dash, it came loose without having to manhandle it out. At first I found this to be a little concerning because now my concern was it would be too loose. But it's not and it holds my phone with the right amount of grip. It also has 5 silicone non-slip pads to hold it in place because without them, it would move on your dash. But they're rather small with very little surface area so I would suggest rinsing them off often to keep them dust free and at their optimal gripping power.All in all, it's a more than adequate phone dash mount and does what it's designed to do without trying to impress you with failed features such as the Remax Car Holder.

product works very well and was reasonably priced. wish it was angled a bit thoughmy only complaint: i wish the front of this was higher then the back. every dashboard i've put it in slopes the opposite direction, which makes the phone slope as well and makes it tough to see. going over potholes and such can lead to the phone falling because of the slope. if the front was higher, this would completely resolve that issue, as this pad is sturdy and works very well otherwise.the way i improvised to fix this: i put a small shim under just the very front of this to raise it up ((thickness of shim varied depending on the vehicle i was in, but most common was somewhere between 1/8-1/4"). that completely fixed the issue. phone never slides or falls and is always at the correct angle now.

The worst caveats are, the dashboard needs to be absolutely dust free to let the silicone pads stick effectively and the holders are barely slide far enough to miss my phone's screen section (S5) without coming back out. That's pretty well the worst about it. You actually don't have to slide the holders that far over. You can still get a good screen view using them as shown in the promo picture.No problems with the unit moving around the dash with the phone in it. Off road experience so far is limited to driving around the pasture, so nothing terribly rough.

Waited before I posted a review as I bought three (3) of these holders for three different vehicles.Having had them placed in my vehicles for usage for a little over one (1) month now I noticed that the adjustable rubber brackets come undone easily when removing the cellphone requiring you to lift up the sticky item and readjust it.Please note that it is very difficult to reseat the bracket without lifting the item up as I tried many times to do so and failed.Consequently, the base itself loses its stickiness very quickly and renders the item pretty useless as it is a cellphone holder stuck to your dashboard. Since it no longer sticks it will slide across your dashboard and fall. Obviously not good.I was very hopeful that this item would work for the long haul but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case. We haven’t even had our summer months here yet and I felt that would be the real test having exposure to heat inside the vehicle.The brackets are also very loose even while seated properly inside the holder. This has been my experience with all three of the items purchased. Needs to be sturdier for removal of a cellphone.Thank you.

Arrived quickly. Easy set-up and installation. I have used it with my iphone6s Plus and it held on to the phone, no problems. The sticky pad sticks to the dashboard very well. I have a 2017 Chevrolet Bolt, if that helps anyone who owns one to make a decision. I recommend this product!

This is exactly what I was looking for to mount my IPhone on my car dash for Waze! It is lightweight, unobtrusive and can be repositioned. It holds my Iphone 8+ easily and is a great position for me to see while driving. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.
