How is the fit compared to the leggings from the same company? If I wear a small in the leggings, should I order the same in these?

I think the fit is pretty comparable to the leggings. I wear an XS in the leggings and the XS shorts are perfect

It’s past my return date but i keep putting off wearing them because they’re a little too snug. Is it possible to swap the size out still?

That I don’t know. They fit a little smug. I use mine for sleepware. They legs stay down and don’t crawl up

are these stretchy and comfortable enough to wear during pregnancy? the maternity ones run big and come way too high.

They are stretchy but are still a little on the snug side . I wouldn’t suggest if pregnant. Unless maybe if you get a bigger size than normal.
