This is THE ONE
I am a side sleeper and frequent international traveler, and before using this pillow I would squash a full-sized memory foam pillow into my carry-on and make sure I had a window seat for long-haul flights. The big innovation here is the face cradle. No matter how expensive the u-shaped travel pillow, I always wound up with neck pain, and could only sleep for a few minutes at a time since my chin would fall forward eventually. Other reviewers have suggested it looks stupid but I care far less about what people think of me than getting some rest over the Pacific Ocean. It can be a little warm because there is fabric on the back, but I tend to find cabins too cold anyway, so that’s a plus for me. The only downside for me is that I have to take it off to be able to hear someone speaking to me, as the side panels cover the ears.

100% head and neck support
I just recently had surgery which has kept me in a recliner for several weeks. I’m in love with this pillow and it kept my head and neck from falling to the side or forward. I always stick a pillow under my chin when I sleep on my side because it keeps my mouth closed and from drying out. What’s nice about this pillow, is it did just that and the strap is nice to make it as tight or loose as you want. I’m not gonna lie, it looks silly, but who cares, you’re comfortable. Also, the pillow around the ear area helps to block out some noise. I’m definitely gonna continue to sleep with it once I get to sleep in my bed. I would recommend this to anyone traveling on a plane or a long road trip in a car. If you want 100% head and neck support and don’t wanna be caught with your mouth wide open or end up with neck cramps on a plane, then this is MUST purchase. If I could give this pillow 10 stars I would. I can’t praise this travel pillow enough!!!!! Throw it the washing machine for a quick clean!!!! Love love love this!!!!!!

You look stupid but it works
I bought one of these because the standard neck pillow pushes my head too far out from the back of the seat, so it doesn't work for me. I bought a turtl, but that doesn't seem to support my head enough. I figured I would try this one.I went this past week overseas and the long flight was 11-12 hours (depending upon the direction I was traveling). It worked well. It helps muffle sound and kept my head from drooping forward. The only negative is that it is large so it doesn't squish down as well as you would like in the bag. Otherwise, it worked fine for me. It's definitely something I would use again. I didn't find it too warm at all.Next time I need to remember to bring a blindfold to keep out the light.

Purchased for surgery
I was having eye surgery and needed to lie flat on my back looking up. I thought this would help. The material at the back of the pillow lined up with where I have a fusion in my neck and it really cut into that part of my spine so it was agony and I couldn't use it. Too late to return. If the material wasn't so tight across the back it would've worked.

Great support. Somewhat large to pack
I’m a terrible, terrible plane sleeper so in prep for an international flight to the south Pacific I purchased 5 travel pillows: the J-Pillow, the Travelrest All-in-One Neck & Body Pillow, the BCOZZY, the SkySiesta SNUG, and the Sunany Inflatable Neck Pillow. The J-Pillow was the worst and I immediately sent it back without use. There was no internal support and it just didn’t support my neck well which is my main issue. The Travelrest All-in-One was probably my favorite – especially if you had something to lean against like a window seat. My wife liked the BCOZZY and confiscated it, so I can’t comment personally on it. I can say she liked it and slept well with it (although she’s just an easier plane sleeper than I am, so the comparison isn’t quite fair).I also used the SkySiesta SNUG quite a bit and it helped as well. It has great neck support and keeps your head from tilting. Another benefit is that it covers your ears (which is very important for me) and so keeps out quite a bit of noise. It somehow made my head feel really secure and so I slept pretty well with it. The only issue is it's not very compact when packing (since it's not inflatable). However, I would definitely buy it again and it helped me to get several hours of sleep on the flight. The Sunany Inflatable was OK as well. I’ll say it works better if you are flying coach. If the seatback or tray in front of you is too far away, this pillow doesn’t work as well. So any seat with extra leg room (bulkhead, business, etc) will likely drastically reduce the effectiveness of this one. In coach, you can basically cram it between you and the seat in front and it’ll keep you from flopping forward. My results were that I slept about 3 hours with one configuration (say, the Travelrest All-in-One) then would wake up, take more sleep medicine, and switch to another (say, the SNUG). All told, after rotating pillows, I ended up getting 6-7 hours total sleep (on an 11 hour flight) which I was delighted with. Keep in mind that I’m a TERRIBLE (beyond terrible) plane sleeper. If you aren’t, you will likely have much better results than I did.So of the 5 I bought, I would purchase again the Travelrest, SkySiesta SNUG, and the Sunany Inflatable.

A travel pillow that actually works.
I have used a small personal pillow, long inflatable pillow, horseshoe style pillow and memory foam collar style pillow, and I always had difficulty sleeping and awoke with neck pain. I recently used this pillow on a 10 hour international flight. Was it perfect? No, but it worked better than any of the other pillows.Pros: 1. The pillow supports the head well and does not let it fall forward or side to side. 2. No neck pain after sleeping for several hours. 3. Pillow does not push the head forward. 4. The adjustment strap allowed for a good fit. 5. Appears to be well made.Cons: 1. May be too warm for some users.
