On lead track 'Black Summer', ethereal guitar underlines introspective lyrics as the rhythm unlocks a hypnotic drum groove highlighted by evocative bass. It quietly inhales only to exhale with a massive refrain, 'It's been a long time since I made a new friend, waiting on another black summer to end', before a guitar solo echoes to the heavens and back. The interplay between the band borders on intergalactic once again - yet elevated to another stratosphere altogether. Unlimited Love represents the united spirit of four individual souls still fearlessly exploring the future of their eternal friendship and musical congregation.

Fantastic return to form with John Frusciante
This album is fantastic, if you are a huge fan of the Chili Peppers from Mother's Milk through to Stadium Arcadium then I highly recommend picking this up. I purchased the deluxe gatefold edition with the poster (pics attached). I can confirm that the pressing quality is excellent, having heard about problems with the coloured vinyl variants, I'd suggest picking this version up instead. Also, The Heavy Wing is one of their all time great tracks in my opinion!

Poor quality pressing record on both the original order and replacement
Poor quality pressing record on both the original order and replacementI ordered this when it was around £11 . Now I know why it was reduced , it seems to jump on B side on the first track . I was sent a replacement, but this has the same fault in the same place !Beware

Quality uncontrolled
Deluxe gatefold version despite being cheap at £17 just doesnt make the cut.... pressings are poor here. I have the blue version which is fine but the images of Side A here reveal both non fills and stitching and these defects spoil the playback too much.... little ripping sounds should NOT be there. Not surprising knowing where it was pressed i suppose.YMMV but im sticking to my blue copy and trusty CD
