Run time is still quite good.
Seems to work as well and run as long as the OEM battery even though it only 4 Amp capacity instead of 5 Amp. We bought this lower capacity replacement because the price was considerably lower.

Do not purchase from iGO + Canada
No Star Rating.... Do not purchase from this seller. Purchase a new battery, received open stock damaged item. Seller refuses to submit prepaid return postage. Their last response July 20, 202 (see attach ).....they only accept return of NEW UNIT, knowing a customer purchased a brand new battery for a snow blower July 6th delivered July 10th (received damaged item) Open a case with Amazon the same date of delivery July 10th. Guess snow is falling in Toronto the month of July for the seller only accepting new unit, open service ticket. This is proof the seller knowledging they did not mailed a new unit to the customer. Buyers do not purchase from this company. Now I am in a battle to get my refund and the seller pickup return. Due to third party seller Amazon has no empathy,

Typical EGO quality, particularly useful for the chainsaw.
I haven't done any real testing, but it seems to last about twice as long as our 2 and 2.5Ah batteries, as expected. The battery charge level 'meter' (ring of LEDs) is helpful. Better than the older batteries that are only green or red. Needless to say, it is about twice the weight of the 2Ah batteries, which is noticeable. I would not want to use a larger battery if the tool will be carried for any length of time.

It seems this 4A battery is far short of running time compared to the original 5A battery.

they don’t last, battery longevity is one of the worst on the market
I've had this battery for just over a year now. and it is showing heavy signs of reduced capacity, likely get one more season out of it and it will be dead. Pretty pricey for this low of a quality, will not be buying any of their products again.
