I bought this float ball valve for a water tank, and honestly, it’s been working really well. Installation was pretty straightforward (I took my time to make sure everything was tightly in place), and so far, it’s been doing its job without any issues. What I really like is that it automatically controls the water level, so I don’t have to constantly check or refill the tank manually. The material feels durable and reliable, and I haven’t had any leaks or malfunctions. Overall, I’m happy with the purchas it’s a simple solution that saves time and gives me one less thing to worry about.

Have it on a trough of a pool. Does the job keeps it to the full mark, no leakage, great value, really easy install, built quality is superb, shuts off when full, functionality is what it’s supposed or intended to do.

You can pay more for other brass float valves (in the $100's), that are similar, but why? This float valve is inexpensive and works great! Easy to install. You will need a short hose with two female ends or, a washing machine hose (hooking it to a water hose).

It is not Male PIPE Thread. It can not be because it has a washer seal and nut used to seal it in hole. Male Pipe Thread (MPT) is TAPPERED threads and a nut will not work on them they start out smaller than 3/4 and enlarge slightly so the PIPE is sealed by the thread when thread sealer is used. ASK YOIUR LOCAL HARDWARE STORE TO EXPLAIN. 3/4 inch PVC or galvanized PIPE does NOT fit this fitting. And my unit was HORIZONTAL ONLY, NOT ADAPTIBLE TO VERTICLE. AS FAR AS THE PRODUCT< IT IS GREAT AND WORKS WELL. JUST LIKE A TOILET FLOAT IT FLOWS FAST AND THEN SLOWS DOWN AS WATER LEVEL RISES UNTIL IT COMPLETELY SHUTS OFF.

Item fell apart in less than one year completely in operable.

With a 1/2" pipe thread you would expect a decent amount of flow. This one does it well. Quality components!

The rod that connects the value to the ball is missing. I would return it but the product is no longer available. Will attempt to find the rod locally.
