Samsung 15W Wireless Charger Single (w/TA), White

It is surprisingly fast with my Samsung S26 Ultra and my old Samsung Note 10+. I have had a past concern with wireless because my phone got terribly hot and so I didn't use wireless, but this is fan-cooled so my phone gets a bit warm but nothing concerning even when charging from 10%. I have my phones set on battery save to stop at 80%, when it hits that the fan stops but the charge light never turns green.

We've been super challenged with the charge cords that come with the phones and their breaking at the plug in spot. Cords are about $23 if you buy from the source, and the cheap ones don't charge well. I thought I'd try this out with a Prime Day special. It works great! Two phones (both in cases) charge as quickly as using the cord. One phone though because there is an ID and Credit Card in the back does not... unless the cards are removed and then it also charges great. Minor inconvenience, but this Samsung cordless charger is awesome and works very well. I also like the fan that runs while charging to help with cooling. There is also a light that's red when charging and green when complete (100%)... I really like this feature too so I can walk by and check versus having to pick up the phone, check the charge %, and then put the phone back on the charge pad. Very happy with this, Samsung!

For years I have bought the knockoff junk from non OEMs to save money but now it is to the point where not a single one of those cheap stands can charge my Ultra 22with an otter box case on it, until now. I read up on the Samsung product and took the plunge, spending 4 times more for each of the two units I bought. Ok well, now I'm sold. I can even put my phone on the charger moderately misaligned and it still rapid Wireless Charges my phone. I read that people complained about the fan noise, and I just got them, but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to hear them over my dog snoring in bed, the cat purring next to my head and my BLUE Air Purifier that has a nice gentle roar to drown out the traffic noise outside my bedroom window. Your experience may differ. I did use different cables than the ones provided, as those were too short to reach from the shelf platforms on either side of my bed down to the adapter. i put my phone on the charger with only about 22% battery left, and it instantly came on and started charging. After an hour, I still don't hear any fan noise and it's at 97%.

So with a Samsung Galaxy S24, this is the fastest wireless charger I've been able to test using the Ampere app. With this samsung charger and the brick that comes with it(tried other bricks, even 65W to 100W ones, couldn't get max speed), I'm able to hit 2500mA in Ampere. All the other "15W" qi chargers I've tested, even the actively cooled ones, won't get past 1500mA in Ampere. My understanding that a 15W or 10W or 7.5W qi charger delivers that much wattage to the phone but that doesn't necessarily mean the phone charges at that rate, because running the app and having the screen on and all that uses power. I knocked off one star because this charger is very finicky about phone placement, and it has very little tolerance for misaligned phones.

I tend to destroy my cable chargers quickly, because I bend them too much and pull them in every direction! My current charger was dying quickly and needed a specific angle to start charging. So, wireless charger it is. I was expecting to have to remove my case in order to charge it, but I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to! My phone case isn't too bulky, but it's not stick-thin either. I don't know why, but the wireless charger did not work the first time I plugged in the cables. I switched the cable upside down and it started working. You do need to have your phone in a somewhat specific area for the wireless charger to start charging your phone, but it is just a second or two of moving my phone around the pad. The cord length suits me just fine. It's tall enough to sit comfortably on my desk. It doesn't take up a lot of space, and charges my phone quickly.
