PROFESSIONAL quality
We are big Waffle House fans who enjoy the skill and fruit of the short order chefs. They flip eggs and serve 'em so the whites are cooked and the yolks are runny without bursting the yolks! What skill. So, I asked the waitress one day how they did that and she said Waffle House buys EAGLEWARE aluminum fry pan but carefully season the aluminum with salt/oil so that the pan is slicker than Teflon!Season your EAGLEWARE aluminum fry pan the momma donna way:1. wash it2. dry it3. put salt in it4. with paper towel, grind it into the inside of pan5. then, brush out the salt6. dip another paper towel in oil and rub oil around the pan, leaving it on there.7. put the pan on the burner (low-med heat) just until it is about to smoke.8. take off burner and allow to cool.9. repeat steps 1-8 two more times.10. repeat steps 1-6, rubbing oil WELL into the pan before storing/putting away.11. this process cures and seals the aluminum, making it stick-free… slicker than Teflon!love, momma donna;-*

Eggs stick. GRRRRRR!!!
I watch those dudes at Waffle House cook my eggs over medium and effortlessly flip them. I've been on a quest to find that exact frying pan for about two years. I thought I had finally found it.When this frying pan arrived I was like a kid at Christmas. I already had the fancy Waffle House egg-frying oil, so I seasoned the pan exactly as the instructions said. It took several hours. When it was all done, I tried to fry an egg. The egg instantly stuck to the pan. I tried another egg. It stuck, too.The next day I scrubbed the pan and started the seasoning process all over. No matter what I do, eggs stick. So I gave up and bought a non-stick Calphalon. :-(

I need more!
I am a prebio us Waffle House cook/manager and this is just like our egg pans we used. If youve woeked there you should know it isn't the old school pans that are better for omelets and a little wider. However, this is the same thing and I love it. Flipping all my eggs jus like at the awful wafle. Lol. Season it right with oil and salt and it will never stick. Youtube has videos with details on this for visual reference.

Just like Waffle House
Received my skillet yesterday and watched a 1983 Waffle House training video on you tube on how to season the skillet for the first time. Back then they used a brillo pad with little water and it worked great. Cooked over easy eggs this morning and did not have any sticking. Now I have to learn how to flip the eggs like they do at the WH.

Love It!
Just like waffle house egg skillet! After seasoning, eggs slide right out. Even heat distribution. Love the stay cool handle. Just the right size for single breakfast items or grilling a sandwich

Barcode label can’t be removed cleanly
Why in the world are they placing a barcode label that’s impossible to remove cleanly on the underside of the pan where it is going to burn and smoke?

Great pan
I love this pan. Season the pan like the first review says and my eggs would slide around the pan like they were on ice! If I knew what size pan Waffle House used for omelets I would buy it to. I will be using this all the time.
