Truly impressive air flow
This Thermalright CPU cooler is an amazing value. The included TL-C12C PWM fan is surprisingly quiet even while running, yet it delivers plenty of blowing power to keep temperatures low. Cannot say this enough it is better airflow than any other fan I have ever owend, it has more blowing capacity. So good. It fits very well in my case without any clearance issues. The four heat pipes and aluminum heatsink do a fantastic job dissipating heat efficiently. If you need a reliable, budget-friendly air cooler that performs well without making a lot of noise, this is a solid pick.

Amazing Performance for the Price
Great value for the money! Easy to install, very quiet, and keeps my CPU cool even during gaming. The build quality is excellent, and the performance is outstanding. Highly recommended!

Definitely a decent budget cooler
A great Cooler Master Hyper 212 clone. It works just as well while being the price the 212 *should* be. Compared to intels stock cooler my idle temps dropped over 10 degrees. Not only that but it’s so much quieter! What a great cooler! The cost to performance ratio is amazing.

An excellent budget cooler that performs far better than the price would indicate.
I love these heatsinks. Very affordable, easy to install, high quality fit-and-finish, and vastly superior to stock coolers. I did a minor upgrade recently, changing out a Ryzen 5 3600 for a Ryzen 5 5600, and the Thermalright Assassin X120 is so much quieter while providing superior cooling.

Replaced stock cooler on my new R5 5600. Huge temp drops. Edit: Be careful with the thermal paste.
I almost don't believe this. I recently upgraded my PC from an old R5 1600 to a 5600. The old Wraith Spire cooler on my 1600 was always sufficient for that CPU. The new Stealth cooler that comes with the 5600 is unfortunately not adequate at all. Playing games the 5600 would easily spike up to 90-94C at only 40% utilization (then throttle). My idle temps were around 45-50C. After installing the Assassin X120, I now idle as low as 32C. I just booted up a game of Star Wars Battlefront 2 (which was consistently running my 5600 up to 90-94C with the Stealth cooler) and I kid you not, the temp stayed at a consistent 55C. I kept looking over in disbelief, expecting to at least go up to 70C, and it never did. I am amazed. It's also much quieter. (I should probably also note that I also replaced my rear exhaust fan, which was just the stock fan that came with the case, with an Arctic BioniX fan at the same time as I installed this CPU cooler. This is likely doing a much better job at pulling out the heat from the CPU cooler than the stock fan was). The installation wasn't too bad at all either. The only part I had a little difficulty was, getting the heat sink aligned to the screws on the brackets, but everything else was pretty easy. I'm very happy with this CPU cooler. Edit: After playing some more rounds of Star Wars Battlefront 2, the temp did top out at a whopping (sarc) 65C. Still almost a 30C drop from the Wraith Stealth cooler. I am just in awe of this CPU cooler still. I've played several other games as well and 65C is the highest temp I've seen period. This is insane. Edit2: So, not long after installing this I started to get BSODs, which eventually turned into an infinite boot loop, rendering my computer temporarily unusable. I didn't think a new cooler would cause this issue (especially because my temps were great) so I checked everything else first: swapped out GPU, RAM, bought a new PSU, RMA'd the CPU (took >2 weeks). I finally figured out the thermal paste had gone down the side and gotten on the CPU pins. It was only a little bit, so not sure why it was so problematic, unless Thermalright's claims about their paste being electrically non-conductive are not true. In any case, once I cleaned it up (used alcohol and a toothbrush) and let it dry (this is important, didn't do this at first) and then reapplied some third party thermal paste (just bought the $5 arctic stuff) making sure to not put too much, it started working perfectly again. So be careful with the thermal paste. Maybe don't use it all to avoid edge spillover. This was my first time applying thermal paste (previously had just used stock coolers with pre-applied paste) and I didn't know how much was too much. I just assumed the amount they give you with the cooler was the right amount.

Cheap price perfect temps
Paired with 9600X on a mini itx mobo, thing is dead quiet unless under full load while compiling. When it can be heard it is still super quiet. Mounting was straightforward. Cool temps, haven't seen tempts go into the 70's yet, though 65W TDP means it doesn't need to work too hard. Size is good for my needs. Great value would recommend

Easy Installation and Working Great So Far
Item arrived and installation was very easy. Great product for the price! Temperatures are stable for my CPU, it is visually appealing, the fan speed is as expected and not too loud at all.

Cool, quiet, wide compatibility, excellent value
I originally bought this cooler as a cheap, low-commitment solution for an old Intel build that was missing the stock cooler. I ended up liking it so much that I bought one for my main rig. It's whisper quiet even at full speed and keeps my 12-core CPU below 75C at full load--a huge improvement over the stock cooler that constantly spooled up and down from minor activity. The included hardware works with pretty much any consumer socket made in the last decade, so if you work on computers a lot, this cooler is a great piece of kit to keep as a spare without tying up too much money. I can't speak to how this cooler compares to more expensive options, but at less than the cost of a pizza, you really can't beat the value.

Works well
Fitting this tower requires access to the back of the motherboard so if you are upgrading an existing computer, you will need to remove the motherboard from the case. Apart from that fitting it was very easy and it made an immediate huge difference to the temperature of the CPU over the stock CPU cooler. It's very quiet. Much quieter than the standard Intel CPU cooler. It is very tall and I can't put the side cover back on the case, this doesn't bother me but it is worth looking at the height and the clearance in your own case

Value for money
AMD Setup was easy, quiet, have seen the temp drop on heavy load which is good for CPU life.
