What is the difference between the Chandan and Chandanam variety?

i love the chandanam, i dont know what they did , but the chandan smells like chemicals, i bought a case of each and you can have the chandan. neither is strictly chandan smell but I dont think I've ever found an incense that is, and I've tried a lot.
