A godsend
In the wind these things are worth their weight in gold. Easy to get on and off, effective as can be.

Works grest stops the wind noise
This is an easy fix to a bedeviling problem of wind. The product easily fits over my 8mm (5/16) diameter lavalier mic and is much more durable then a conventional foam mic cover, which i ended up losing. It has an interior core of foam and then the furry part, the base has a stretchy rubber ring that requires you to pull/push it over the lavalier mic. . The only real downsize is the furry part is a little long.

Fits snugly, sizing is important. Size-up if unsure and pad to fit.
Bought it to replace the foam windscreen on an Antlion ModMic 5.0, didn't fit the ModMic, but fits snugly over a Sony ECMCS3 lavalier microphone.Wind noise is nearly inaudible even with a 16" fan blowing directly into the mic from a distance of 20cm at full blast (~800rpm).Rubber o-ring is not elastic and fits very snugly, so best to purchase the right size. Size up if in doubt.

Great for Sony ECMCS3
Bought these for a Sony ECMCS3 to use with a GoPro Hero 5 Black. They work perfectly. I recommend buying the 10mm size. I measured the mic at 12mm but wanted a tight fit. I can see the 12mm being loose and the 8mm being very tight to install. 10mm was perfect. The fur is very long and I had to trim it with scissors to keep it out of my mouth in a helmet.

It did not work for me as it is supposed to.
I don’t know if I got a defective pair or not, but I got them for voice recording on a lap mic at a proposal video shoot on the beach using a Tascam DR-22WL. I tested it before shooting day and I didn’t hear much difference with or without this unit on lap mic. I ended up having the groom-to-be put on a long sleeve shirt on top of a T-shirt and ran the lap mic cable in between both. The lap mic was set in between T-shirt and long sleeve shirt’s collar hidden from view. That did the trick eliminating most of the waves and wind noises. You could hear them, but they didn’t interfere much with the dialog between groom-to-be and bride-to-be.

Have this mounted onto a Sony ECMCS3. Fits and works perfectly. Tried various windscreens and none of it was able to fit onto the sony snugly. This one did.
