~ Ceramic Lamp Ring ~ with Fragrance Oil

I needed to put a lovely scent in our home because our two dogs were the first thing you smelled when you walked into the house. My home is very, very clean, and our dogs are bathed and groomed all the time, but when dogs get old (one is 9 and the other is 13) they only smell pretty for so long after their baths! I tried aerosol sprays or potpourri, etc, but using this ceramic ring with essential oils I buy at Whole Foods (because they don't give me a headache) works perfectly! I leave the lamp on the lowest setting (with a 3-way light bulb) and the finally the first scent you smell when you walk in the door is whatever scent I've put in to the ring! The lavender scent that comes with the ring smells really nice, but I have allergies and don't know if it is as pure as the ones bought at Whole Foods.

This is exactly what I wanted. I used to get the oils at the flea market and they make your house smell so good, I love them. I knew when I ordered this that the scents varied so I was hoping to get anything other than lavender....wouldn't you know that is exactly what I got! I can not give a bad review for that because I knew that going in. Either way, I got the ring I wanted and the oils I love from the flea market so I am happy! I will find someone who likes lavender oil to give this stuff to.

I love using this to scent my house. I am a scent a holic! ! I think scenting the home is as important as decorating it! I have used it all....candles wax warmers oil warmers room sprays, you name it! These work really well for several hours of scent. They fill my 12×12 room very well. Using only about 5 drops makes it very affordable allso. The ceramic doesn't get too hot either so if you want to do a quick refill you don't have to wait for it to be turned off and cool down before refilling. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it is too large to work on CFL or LED bulbs. I plan on buying more! I also love that it's a completely hidden way to fill the air. ....keeps them guessing how my home smells so delicious.

Works well at adding fragrance to the room. I seem to need to add oil every few days to keep it smelling good. Nice surprise to smell something amazingly good when I turn my reading light on at night. I use with a traditional light bulb shaped newfangled LED bulb and have not had any problems.

Definitely works, but..... not in love with this product. The ring creates a shadow in the middle of my lamp shade. See photo attached. I will not be returning (due to cost of shipping), so I may move it to another room where it is not as noticeable. It may look better with different types of lamp shades, just didn't like that way it worked in mine. Also, suggest getting your own oil and not use the lavendar in the box. I really like lavendar, but am not a fan of the one that is included.

The ring has a painted finish on the inner ring where the oil goes. I find this prevents the scent from being noticeable —find plain clay ring does a much better job. Oil smells great you just can’t smell it if you are more than 5 feet away from the bulb.

It works great. Yes, it's a little difficult to get the oil in the small ring without a mess but I have found using a dropper works great. Smells good and ceramic ring works very well.
