If you are looking at this carpet fitting kit and wondering whether it is useful for a smaller DIY job, yes, it is. Carpet is one of those jobs that feels simple until you try to do it without the right tools.The knee kicker gives you much better control over getting the carpet sitting where it should, and the cutter and bolster are genuinely useful extras. It makes a messy edge feel much more manageable and helps the finished job look more deliberate.My tip would be to work slowly and keep checking the carpet as you go. Do not try to force too much movement in one go. Small adjustments give a much better finish. For DIY carpet repairs, tidying edges, or smaller fitting jobs, this is a very useful kit. Five stars.

Very useful set for people who lay carpet and linoleum on their own throughout the house.- The knife makes it very easy to cut in a quick, convenient way and providing one line.- The handle for tapping the carpet is gold, you can easily fit the carpet to the wall in a convenient way and without much effort (although you have to put in some force)- The metal tapping block will not only push the carpet into the gap but will also be useful when cutting the linoleum, made of metal so very durable (and also heavy)I am not a professional but these three tools worked perfectly, I am very happy with the purchase. I recommend it, very cool thing

Be careful the metal spatula on skirting it take the paint off. The cutter is good when you get the hang of it.

Bought this to fit a carpet myself, worked perfectly! Wasn’t heavy, and gripped the carpet perfectly. Carpet cutter was great aswel.

I was very sceptical about this carpet fitting kit, having had a poor experience with the brand in the past.However, this is superb. The carpet stretching tool is heavy, strong and gives the appearance and feel of a very well made tool. It helped fit a carpet brilliantly. The grips fit without issue and we found it incredibly easy to use.The silver push tool for final adjustments is also heavy and feels like it will last forever, whilst the cutting tool is absolutely excellent. It made the fitting of the carpet very easy indeed.

Did the job, wouldn't want to use it more than an occasional use item. Door padding to knock in with left me with some pretty impressive bruises. However, as said did the job and pretty cheap.

Brilliant

worked as expected - made it pretty easy for me and it's the first carpet I've laid in 30 years - I used the knife to trim the carpet into manageable size.. then still used a regular Stanley knife to tidy it up.
