2880-20 M18 Fuel Brushless Lithium-Ion 4-1/2 in. / 5 in. Cordless Small Angle Grinder with No-Lock Paddle Switch (Tool Only)

If you buy this you probably already have invested in other Milwaukee tools, so you know what you are getting. So I will go with the specifics on this particular grinder: First, it cuts or grinds as well as a corded grinder. In fact, I have found I grab it first because I don't have a cord to deal with. It is powerful and balanced. I believe I actually have more control of it than with my corded Milwaukee 4.5" grinder. Second, it has a brake system that stops the cutting/grinding wheel quickly when you release the trigger. This is much safer in general, and specifically allows you to set the tool down on your welding table without the wheel spinning and either scooting the tool into the floor or throwing tools or metal pieces around. Also will add the lock to use when changing wheels works nicely. I can change them with gloves on without hunting down the wrench. It also has a clip-on plastic guard that goes over the regular guard that I believe covers more when using a cutting disc. Nice to have, but it is another thing to keep track of. So I am pretty happy with it, the best part is I can carry it out into the field where there is no corded power and cut or grind something, which is it's greatest function. Battery life seems good to excellent, but honestly I keep several charged batteries around, I am comfortable with the whole M18 system, but this tool doesn't appear to use a battery any more than my other tools, that includes a number of tools such as drivers, drills, sander, impact, and Sawzall.

I use this every single day as a specialized semi trailer mechanic. We are responsible for buying our own tools and we plan to only buy them once if possible.It's nice. It is as safe as you are gonna get with a grinder. The power and battery life are unmatched. In my line of work these cordless tools are battle tested. Myself and almost every coworker agree that the fuel lineup from Milwaukee is top tier. I am even the guy who will buy cheaper tools if possible. But the quality for price is nowhere close with rival brands. I have owned DeWalt,snap on, you name it. I was rebellious towards Milwaukee at first because I thought it was over hyped. The last 3 years I have been using Milwaukee tools. The brand is NOT over hyped.

This grinder is super strong and feels really well-built. The brushless motor and paddle switch make it easy to use, and it works great with my M18 batteries. My husband loves it, totally worth it! The item was completely new and the box came perfectly.

The Milwaukee 2880-20 Angle Grinder performs well, and the brushless motor offers a lot of power for both light and medium tasks. It’s comfortable to hold, and the paddle switch is a nice feature. I appreciate how smoothly it runs, and the safety features are solid. However, the battery life is a bit lacking if you're working on longer projects, especially if you're using the grinder on tougher materials. It’s great for quick tasks but might need frequent recharges for extended use. Overall, it's a good tool, but it could be improved with a longer-lasting battery for heavy-duty work.

This grinder is amazing. Incredibly strong and powerful, the auto brake feature is amazing. It's lightweight and comes with a good guard for safety. Easy to hold and use in one hand. A great addition to my many other Milwaukee products.

I’ve been buying into the Milwaukee tool line over the past year and like all the tools thus far, this grinder does not disappoint. I bought this grinder to use as cutoff wheel to remove various nails, hardened truss plates, and steel strapping that was out in field with no electrical power nearby. For the purpose I bought it, the grinder worked like a champ. I only used XC5.0 batteries and found that a single battery was plenty enough for my uses. However, if you have a ton of grinding as like with welding a bunch of pipe, I’m not so confident a cordless option would be the best unless you have a bunch of spare batteries ready. Of note, in comparison to my older dewalt corded grinder the rpms on this grinder seam to be a bit lower. The grinder also has a stop brake which is much more convenient than I thought it would be. Typically you have to hold the grinder for a bit before placing it down so it doesn’t chew into something, but the stop feature negates this as it near instantly stops as soon as you lift off the trigger. There’s also a soft start feature which is awesome, as you can literally start the grinder single handed as there’s very little torque trying to rip it out of your hand.

年配の方など手に握力が弱くなった方など現行のサンダーでは親指などでボタンを押し上げるのに少し力が要りますが このサンダーはマキタなどもありますが握る形などで指全体を使えることから便利かと思います。

Better price than the depot but you do not get the depot warranty. It is milwaukee feul so quality is a non issue. Works dandy.

I like the size of the grinder kind of compact, but I was expecting more power, and I wish it has kick back protection technology as a standard, and all kinds of grinders and I have it come with a quick release, looking mechanism for the disc which is I buy it individually and I use it on the grinder.
