I think what user 97235 was attempting to convey about 433hz is that it is a frequency. Remote control to device and vice versa need similar, if not the same frequency in order for the remote to communicate to the device. I honestly don't know about doing it that way. Each set comes with 2 remotes, so it's possible that they are all on the exact same frequency so they would work with more than one set. But if you were to buy the 2 plug adapters and plug one into each of these, that would work the same, as well.
