I like everything about this phone apart from the battery life. It sucks.

Bought the phone in January 2024. The phone was sold as new. 2 weeks ago they phone started having battery life issues. Then last week the phone became very very hot and the battery swelled so much it pushed the rear cover off. I contacted samsung and they asked me to return it. I have received an email from samsung saying. Following the inspection, the engineer has noted that part of the adhesive tapes on the back glass are missing and the back glass has been previously replaced as part of a third-party repair. The engineer also noted the battery has swollen. In situations where evidence of unauthorised rework is found, this invalidates the terms and conditions of the Samsung Warranty supplied with the product as this is not a manufacturing fault or component failure. The phone was not new when sold.

The review title says it all about the seller, read the seller feedback, buy from them at your peril. From here my review will be in general. The Samsung Galaxy S22 is a beautiful handset, it comes with just about every premium feature you could ask for and feels really good in your hand, not too big and not too small, if perhaps a little slippery at times without a case on it. Get a really good case for it with screen protector to keep it in good condition. The dual sim feature is great, if like me you were tired of carrying multiple phones around. I haven't used it long enough yet to comment on the battery life, but I am a light user, so expect a full day out of it. I have also yet to explore all the features on it, but I can tell you it sounds great, takes amazing photos and is also water resistant, so should save you from an oopsie. It's a good, very capable handset and will definitely please.

Fidèle de la gamme samsung, je ne suis nutilement déçue de l’appareil. La batterie tient bien la charge, les fonctions sont faciles à maîtriser.

Ich habe mir das Handy gekauft, weil ich eine sehr gute Poträt-Kamera haben wollte und gleichzeitig ein Handy, was nicht so groß ist. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Die Kuh ist mal ein Beispiel, wie gute Fotos man in 3 Sekunden schießen kann. Die Kuh nicht lange still gehalten....
