Expensive but very beneficial.
A very unique training device that engraines proper sequencing of the club release to help you maximize your strike. Helps cure the early release of the club head which is critical to building power in your swing. Takes a while to master this device but it provides great benefits.

Confidence in every swing
It is the best training aid that I have come accross to show you when to release the club at the correct point in the down swing. It helps tremendously with increasing your tempo and club head speed.

Decent Training Aide, But Donโt Over Do It
Itโs OK for what it was designed to do as a training/practice aide to help with your golf swing. However, I would recommend installing a better grip on it as the stock grip feels undersized and not as grippy. Also, and most importantly for older golfers, using this device at longer distance settings (as if you were hitting fairway woods or driver) can put strain on your wrists. This is due to swinging harder and the centrifugal force caused by the weighted head which causes pulling on your wrist joints. I would recommend using this at shorter distance settings

Inconsistent quality - good device but your performance may vary
I bought this and like it, but mine clicks easily at 97 mph and I can do the 110 mph (280 yards) fairly easily. But using other swing analyzers, I know my driver speed is closer to 94-95, and my drives go 220-240. I told my brother about this and he bought one. His performs more like it should. I contacted the company and they said while mine wasn't defective, they made an adjustment between when mine was bought and when my brother bought his. Did they really make an adjustment, or is their quality control such that you may get one that really has a swing speed of 220-240 as its max instead of the stated 280 yds as I did? And if they did make an adjustment, aren't they admitting that the "older" version was not tuned right? Company said it would not swap out mine as they determined it was not defective based on my description and I'm outside the 30 day return window. They said buy another one and try it (at $150 a pop, I think not). They also said another version will be coming out that goes to 350 yds (again, are they admitting that these are adjusted too low?) Overall, I still give it 3 stars as I think the tool can be good and my small range of 97-110 mph is somewhat useful, but I will no longer recommend this as I believe that either the QA on the product is very inconsistent, or the company does not stand behind a product that does not perform as stated.

My only swing trainer!
Iโve never been a fan of swing training tools, many are very gimmicky but the Swing Caddy is worth every cent. It really helps you feel the moment of release at the bottom of the swing plane. Iโm a senior golfer and have lost a lot of swing speed and distance but I think this tool has helped me. Be patient with the Swing Caddy. Youโll probably have to set it at a pretty low swing speed setting to get it to โclickโ at release. With a little practice youโll build up to a decent swing speed. It probably took me two or three weeks to build up to the โdriverโ setting so give it some time. Youโll find YouTube videos that recommend the Swing Caddy and provide good guidance in the use of it. Itโs a little expensive but I think it provides the golfer with excellent feedback and is a good value.

Before You Buy it Know What itโs Supposed to Do. It is a big help.
Ball flight is just a byproduct of a power swing. If you can get it to click at the bottom youโve returned the club face square to the target & have your wrist & hips turned correctly to get the ball into the air. You have to make a complete rotation; so thereโs a click at the top when itโs time to stop moving your arms. The โswingโ is the same for every club but the force you need to generate to get the ball in the air is greater. More force is created by a faster swing. The faster the swing the less room for error & the more likely you are to top it; hit it fat; or wiff. This has a dial. Hold the weighted end & turn the shaft to change from a wedge to a driver. Age 60 now, I remember starting to play at age 4. Iโd play a few years; stop for a decade & play again. This time I started over after 5 yrs due to injury. I know what to do (maintain the plane/arc (see Medicus) & power thru the finish while making your feet, knees, wrists & hands release at the same point. This tool stops you from thinking โleft arm straight; knees bentโ & jibber-jabber BTW โkeep your head downโ - only applies until you hear the click. You must move your head up toward the target or you canโt finish the swing properly. When you finally do put a ball in front of you, look at it (dugh) but mentally feel the click you developed in practice. A club pro told me the best way to teach a beginning adult is to leave the ball out of the equation for at least the 1st 30 days so they donโt develop the habit of thinking about the ball & all the little movements- โleft arm straight, head downโ all at the same time. His wife had never played & didnโt want to. But when he was ready to retire it was learn to play or end up spending less & less time together. In a couple months (when she got over being intimidated by someone who hit a really long ball) she was breaking 100; in 2 yrs, breaking 90. For me, at 60 after a 5 yr hiatus, I used this & Medicus (I left a review there if you really want to know why) for 8-12 weeks as I kept considering getting out of my Covid home-office and going to the range so I could play w/family on June 13th at Poppy Hills in Pebble Beach. I didnโt make it to the range & hit just a few b/c we were late to the tee. The 1st tee shot of the day was straight down the middle; 210 yds right to the landing area setting up a 2nd shot; which I topped & went chunk, chunk, chunk down the fairway. I only counted the good shots & there were at least 2 solid ones every hole & a couple pars. At the end of four days, I was keeping a real score- and didnโt break 100. But, I stayed mostly in the fairway; didnโt slice at all & wiffed just a couple times.

Most effective golf tool for power and distance!
Of all the golf training tools I've acquired, it is by far the most useful and effective. It trained me to correctly focus and unload the power in my swing unto a target point. My drives used to be 220 yards on average. Now, it has gone up to 250-260 yards on average for my driver, and 10-20 yards for my irons, hybrids and woods. A must buy!
