Birkenstock Women's Mayari Sandal

I have been converted to Birkenstock for comfort after many years of thinking about buying some. I have always been put off by people saying how uncomfortable they are initially but after having a plate in my foot for arthritis, I have finally bit the bullet, so to speak. These sandals are perfect for me. Yes they took a little wearing in along the edges, but I honestly think this is because I have wide feet and my foot slightly overlaps on the outer edge. I found wearing them in 'a little, often' inside the house is the answer. Eventually the outer edge softened and I now find them so comfortable I would hate to be without them. Be sure to buy them so your feet fit inside the contours at the front and rear of the sandal. Some people would say all the foot to be within the contour....... I wish, but my feet are not made for Birkenstocks to fit me in this way! Yes Birkenstocks can be a little un-feminine but this style for some reason, suits my foot and it looks better on than I could have anticipated. Would I swap them, not in a million years. Would I buy them again, definitely! In fact, think I will look for another pair now :-)

I have wide feet so the fit is a small bit narrower than I would ideally like but it *is* clearly stated that these are a narrow fit so I knew what I was getting. I normally wear a 41 but I feel like I could have gotten away with a 40 if the fit wasn't so narrow. That said, they're still comfortable, and I think the leather will stretch out a bit with time (it's a little snug around the toe). I really love the look and feel of this shoe as they're less bulky looking than the traditional model (although I love those too). One thing that was really great was that they didn't rub at all. I've worn them every day since I got them and I've had no rubbing or hot spots / blisters.

I bought this sandals to have a second pair, since the first pair i bought in white i wear it all the time in the summer months. They are very very confortable. It takes a few wears until your feet adapt to the shoes and after you wont want to wear anything else.I would go for the normal width which is the M, unless you have super narrow feet, then go for the N. The size comes a little bit bigger , i normally use a 36 and i got a 35 and it fits perfect, but they give you the cms so the best is to measure your feet. Very good quality as well.

These are the most comfortable shoes for summer wear. I've recently bought a second pair as I wear them so much. My daughter wears the same shoe and also agrees with me. Excellent service!!! Would definitely use the same supplier.

Gorgeous design. I bought the narrow fit and they are great. Obviously not got a regular fit to compare with so not sure how much difference there is (I just went for the cheaper one to be honest). When they first arrived I thought they were going to be massive but as soon as I did the straps up they seems to magically shrink to fit my feet and are a lovely secure fit. I wore them for a couple days and they softened up quickly. Feet briefly felt a bit tender - but they had also just emerged from winter and were a little bit in shock to be in sandal-like footwear! Lovely quality pair of shoes and have had all my friends comment on how nice they look. Happy customer!

I am a long-time Berkinstock wearer and these do not disappoint. Berkinstock arch support is unbeatable; I have many pairs and am in the all day long. I have a wide foot and the regular width fits well. But, in truth, they can be a bit unattractive. This toe-ring style is very pretty. I do not like thong sandals (even Berkis) because of the pressure they create between my toes. This shoe is comfortable because it is held on the foot by the ring around the toe rather than a strap between toes. The Mocha is a nice neutral color, but in all honesty I would have preferred them in the Habana Oiled Leather. (They were sold out.). However, I expect to get lots of wear from these. I would definitely buy them again.

It's been a while since I had a pair of Birkenstocks, but when my feet began to hurt all the time due to closed toes and super tight insteps on even my "comfy" walking shoes, I realized I had to go back. The first day with a pair of Birkenstocks, you're never quite sure if it's going to work out. The sole seems to push your foot in odd directions and the fit seems weird. But... give it a day. Walk around. The beauty of this shoe is the fact that it becomes morphed to your foot in a way no other can. Within a couple days, they're the most comfortable shoes you could own, with great support all around. The Golden Brown color is actually a little... "golden" with a slight shimmer. But I like these are more delicate than the Fred Flinstone design of other Birkenstocks!

My daughter loves Birkenstocks! She just upgraded to women's sizes from kids sizes. More selections and styles to chose from. These look lovely on her feet! Feminine but extremely comfortable! They are true to size; length wise but roomy in width. They can be adjusted to fit your feet. My daughter has very slender narrow feet. With adjustment of straps she was just fine! Excellent buy!

The best and most comfortable shoes. This is my third pair and I will forever repurchase them.
