A lifesaver after rotator cuff surgery
I highly recommend this shoulder ice pack for any post surgery or arm injury. I keep it in my freezer and pull it out a few times a day to keep on my shoulderIt's so much more effective than normal ice because it also gives your arms stability and the relief it provides is unbelievable. It starts to cool down but not warm after about 30 minutes so I put it back in the freezer and it's just very easy to store. I was able to go off meds so much quicker and I still use this regularly even though I am 45 days outside of surgery. I can't recommend it enough ✔️they certainly should give this out when you have your surgery but make the investment I don't think you'll regret it.

A Worthy Option
In work I put my shoulders to the task; now only pain remains. This product will keep me in wraps until I am diagnosed. I’ve probably torn something. The product is as described and was chosen based on reviews. It is reported useable as cold or hot and so the bases are covered. The material is pliable enough even when frozen; I haven’t checked AI yet on efficacy of a turn to hot instead.I’m not buff like the guy shown, but large still seemed right sizing given 2 choices.I have it on as I write and it calms the soreness - either thru numbness or of my sense that it will help. The initial doc visit was indeterminate, and the PT that was advised did little to relieve the ache which does travel down the arm.The pain brought me to seek some relief ; I’m glad for this option. The cost is more than fair. One more thing: it’s an interchangeable item ; either shoulder covered by one product of fair cost is great value.

If you live by yourself, this thing can be a challenge to attach to your shoulder
As an icepack, this product works quite well. It maintains a cool temperature long enough for full session of PT on your sore shoulders. My only issue is that it's not easy to wrap around your arm. There were no instructions in my box, so I dont know if this is normal or not. But I had to figure out how to wrap it around my arm. This is not easy to do. 'What I recommend doing is that you figure out how to wrap the and secure the arm strap while the ice pack is thawed out and plyable. Because once it is chilled, the product is fairly rigid and difficult to bend and curl. So, figure out how to attach it to your arm, and the remove it like you would a shirt. Leave the velcro straps attached and in place and then stick it in your freezer. Then when you are ready to use it, all you have to do is slide it into place on your arm and then stretch the other strap up and over your head. This is much much easier to do than trying to figure out how to secure it onto your arm if it's already chlled and rigid.

Flexible, versatile and also an effective weapon
My husband ordered this for his shoulder surgery. As soon as he recovered, I stole it to treat anything and everything related to my body's descent into middle age. I have used it for tendinitis, surgery recovery, headaches, sore muscles and the existential stress of living in an apartment with mediocre air conditioning. Most recently, on my way to put this bad boy back in the freezer, I saw a mouse and threw my ice pack at it. The mouse regained its footing, crawled off to a corner and died. I sanitized it promptly and it is back in use, more valued than ever.
