This brush cleaner has been a game changer for me. I usually just clean my brushes in warm water and dish soap, but I’ve recently gotten into using the glue-type sealants on my art projects. I noticed that my brushes just weren’t getting as clean and stayed stiff feeling from the sealant. A quick search on the net brought me to The Master’s Brush Cleaner, and it stripped away every bit of the built up paint and gunk, and left my brushes feeling softer than they did the day I bought them! The only brush cleaner I use. When others use your brushes & leave them to “soak”- aka harden into cement; this will bring them back to life. It’s also easy to use, long lasting in a great container- I love when I can use every drop of a product. Perfect buy for the young artist- it will become their life-long go to cleaner.

I bought this brush cleaner to deep clean my shaving brushes. What I can say is it’s works extremely well and made my brush look and smell very pleasant. The bristles are noticeably softer after the brush dried. It lathers up quickly and produces more than enough lather to deep clean. It seems this tub will last a long time. I don’t know how well it removes paint or varnish,but for my purposes I will buy it again when this container runs out

Love this stuff!! Makes my rushes smooth and clean. After rinsing and washing at the sink, they look good. Then I use General's and more paint comes out and they soften right up!! I look forward to cleaning my brushes now as the experience is so simple and satisfying!! Seriously!

This stuff is honestly awesome. I thought my brushes were already clean until I used this and saw how much paint STILL kept coming out of them. It’s actually kind of crazy how well it works. I use it mostly for miniature painting and acrylic paints and it made some of my older brushes feel way better again. Brushes that felt stiff or messed up started holding a point better after cleaning them with this. Also kinda weird but it’s super satisfying and therapeutic to use. Just scrubbing the brush around and watching old paint come out feels really nice for some reason lol. A little bit lasts a long time too so the container goes farther than I expected. Definitely worth buying if you paint a lot and want your brushes to last longer.

I've started using washing my brushes before storage with this brush cleaner and it's definitely given my brushes a more supple and soft feel while keeping the tips nice and crisp. Definitely worth it to keep your brushes top tier.

I think it is a great brush cleaner. I use it for oils, acrylics and watercolor. Even if I forget to clean a brush for a day or two, it gets the paint out with a little extra effort. Probably because it works as a preservative, too. The 2.5 oz is my preferred size, but it can be bought in a smaller or larger sizes. Odorless.

I bought this in September 2025 and was skeptical, I was also put off by what I thought was a high price but... This product is amazing! I have been using the same brush for my miniatures for 5 months!! I clean it every day in the evening when I have finished painting Warhammer for the day and leave it to dry over night, next day its like using a new brush again! This product has loads left and has kept my favorirte brush clean and reusable where as in the past I would have probably got through about 10 of these brushes in 5 months so the cleaner is already saying me money. Watch a you turbe video on how to use it for best results but basically you wet your brush and gentally rub it over teh cleaner then wash again with water and repeat until no more paint shows up on the cleaner then swill your brush in water and leave it to dry. Amazing product and well worth the money.
