It's proven useful in many different setups. It's always in my camera bag.
Upgraded my original rating to 5/5 because it's proven so useful. It goes on an iPhone video rig, and an iPhone DSLR style camera grip. Also used it a couple of times with GoPros. It's a solidly made piece that stays where you put it and it does the job, without being fiddly or taking up unnecessary space. Nice.

Work great!
SmallRig makes great stuff. It really does not matter what it is, if you need it and they make it, you will be happy. This was needed for a small LED light panel that I did not always want facing the talent, so I was able to rotate it to the side or up when needed. Fits right in the shoe, easy to install and use, stable, and inexpensive.
