Is this an oem part made by pentair or is it a generic gasket

Mine came from PST Pool Supplies and says "Generic" on the package. Pentair is not stated anywhere on the package or picking ticket. Very disappointing. The Amazon description (on-line) says by Pentair - how does that happen.? On the package...."Gasket, PacFab/AmProd/Pent 2" MPV, 6-5/8"OD, 5 Spokes, Generic"

Will this work on my 2 inch 27-3208 Purex triton multi-port value? If not, what gasket do I need please?

Part number 27-3208 is for the replacement valve label. That label is for the Pentair 261055 2 inch side mount valve that would take gasket 271148.

Does this fit pentair sm-20-2 multi port? (only answer if you do know the answer please)

Yes, I used for my Pentair sm20-2 multi-port. I understand it fits both the top and side mount models.
