It is not compatible with STM lenses
It’s a very good lens hood and easy to use but it isn’t compatible with Canon 55-250 mm STM.

Great buy for the price.
This work great. It fit perfectly, and it easy to put on and take off. It is a nice cheap hood. I wood have liked if it was a tad thicker, and had a more matt finish inside, but for the price I can't complain. I Would recommend.

I’m new to photography. I don’t really know how or when to use this but was told to get it if I take pictures outside when the sun is shining. It arrived fast and I’ll try it out when it stops raining.

Doesn't fit. Too small. Impossible to fit.
It doesn't fit. Wrong size. I have the 55-250 and it doesn't fit. It should have 2 indents and it come with three. It's not a bad quality unit, it's that the product is manufactured using the incorrect measurements. Probably a whole batch is useless.
