I used this every time I receive cash.It works because I can see the different colored line in $100, $50 etc.

This pocket size money scanner worked great for me and was very easy to use right out of the box. I highly recommend it over using the marking pens to be more reliable in discovering fake bills!

It WORKS, love this device. We have a huge rummage sale every Memorial Weekend and this little device sure comes in handy checking the large dollar bills for the strip. Love that on the device it gives you the placement of where the strip should be and the color that should appear, it also shows each dollar currency. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for something small, simple to use and informational and accurate!!

-Purchased this little gem along with books and other aids to help teach my 9-year-old grandchild about money. They loved comparing genuine currency to motion picture prop money. Each time they were given a real bill, they'd run and grab this device to check its authenticity! LOL Although there may be other, more effective ways to determine whether bills are real, this was the most fun!

They did what they were supposed to do they do detect the line but you have to look really close really hard cuz the light is very dim and the cover is very dark to see through

Small and simple to use. Sometimes it can be a little hard to see the stripe, however the guides on top is super helpful as it shows you where the stripe should be on the money. It takes a little longer than bigger machines but for the price absolutely worth it to help in my Small Business.
