Was impressed at first by the construction and how well ...
Was impressed at first by the construction and how well it worked for the first few days, then it started acting up. Went to use it, clicked the button and nothing. Clicked it a few more time and got a very weak light. After a few more uses I had to tap the side just to get the light to come on. I really need a UV light to check ID's and money in my line of work. I have contacted Amazon and will be receiving another one, I will see how long it will last.

This light is perfect for checking the bills and works as described.

Uncertain Yet
For 32 years in business I have never had to deal to fake money until last month so I am no expert. I do have the pens but keep hearing 50/50 about them so I went for a backup. I am not certain what the point is, perhaps it is because I am no expert in fake money detecting. While it does show colors for the vertical strips, you can also see the strip if you hold the bills up to the light. Apparently, they cannot fake that. I guess time will tell which is better.

Easy to use, compact. Bought to test out sunglasses and if really UV blocking or not. Works great!
