Lives up to its name
It’s truly creamy! Very good skincare care line and this gel has worked great on my skin. I have acne scars from my teenage years and oversized blackheads on my nose, it’s so annoying and I tried many products. I’ve been using this mandelic acid for a month and it has greatly reduced the size of my pores. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any redness or inflammation. It’s an awesome lightweight formula that’s doesn’t leave my skin greasy. I will say, I use this product nightly and in the daytime I do need to apply sunscreen as you should with any AHA product. Great value for the money and the size is perfect to take with you when traveling. Get it!

Great product but…..
Okay so this is a great product that calms down breakout and leaves your skin feeling smooth in the morning. It seems as if the product is filled with a teaspoon of product in that size of a bottle. I am always almost out of protect after about week or 2 basically and I stopped using it just because of it and found another alternative.

Does It Work As Well As Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Serum?
As you might have guessed, I typically use Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Serum. I use it at night after washing my face, along with Drunk Elephant marula oil. Drunk Elephant is really expensive so I was interested in seeing if this could be a dupe for it. They both have AHA gel as the main ingredient listed on the front of their bottles (with this having 7% and Drunk Elephant having 10%). That was good enough for me to try. I haven't noticed a difference in my skin which really surprised me because my skin is temperamental about everything. The Creamy brand doesn't mix as well with the marula oil and tends to be more viscous (thick, sticky) than the Drunk Elephant Serum. Overall, I am not sure which one I will get when I finish this. I like that this is cheaper, but I'm not sure I'm getting all the same benefits as I would with Drunk Elephant's product. I've included the list of ingredients for each one for your comparison below. For reference- I'm in my 30s and have struggled with acne since my teens. Proactiv works well for me, but I wanted something to care more for my skin and Drunk Elephant products keep my skin clear.Creamy-Aqua, Mandelic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Ammonium Hydroxide, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Alpha-Arbutin, Sargassum filipendula extract, Hypnea musciformis extract, Sodium Benzoate, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Glycerin, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzoic Acid, Sorbic AcidDrunk Elephant TLC FramboosWater/Aqua/Eau, Glycolic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Juice Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Opuntia Ficus-Indica Extract, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract, Buddleja Davidii Meristem Cell Culture, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Allantoin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Galactoarabinan, Propanediol, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Xanthan Gum, Hexylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Pentylene Glycol, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Chloride, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Ehh
Just not for me. Left a funky texture on my face, burning almost. Even when using as directed, I didn't notice a difference.

It actually works?
Like other reviewers, I give this a 10 out of 10 for the packaging. The twist-and-popup pump is several different kinds of awesome. However, the product within is also pretty great.I am testing way too many products on my face and I don't have acne anyway. What I do have is a lifetime of poor suncare decisions on my shoulders. I have a lot of sun damage in the form of freckles of varying darkness. I started using this twice a day and exfoliating in the shower. After 3 weeks, I have actual, visible results. As anyone who has done phototherapy or used potions like this, you know that the marks will always get darker before they get lighter. True to form, my freckles got darker for the first week but now they are beginning to lighten. I may be stuck with the darkest marks, but the field of moderate freckles is getting lighter and the lightest ones are gone already. This product is a gel that dries, rather than sinks in, at least in my experience. It isn't emollient at all and will actually turn back into a gel if you get it wet. It has a faint, somewhat unpleasant, odor but it dissipates very quickly once dried. I've had no adverse reaction to it, but once again, I'm not using it on my face.I'm simply amazed that something which isn't hydroquinone fades sunspots so effectively.
