Crystal Retinal, Age-Defying Serum, 11x Faster than Retinol

I’m 48 with wrinkes but Medik 8 helps my skin to help my skin to looks smoother and my wrinkles improved, I started with lower Medik 8 and moved to retinal 6 and I can that my skin gets better and better! This is is an advance cream and defintely better than retinol, a bit pricey and worth every penny! I highly recommend it and you wont regret it. On e thing that you need to be aware of, this makes you skin a bit dry for start until your skin get used to it so make sure that you apply moisturiser after!!

I’ve worked my way up to retinal 6 and it’s a great formula. Really makes a difference to the tone and brightness of my skin. Looks much clearer. I use this each evening & a red light mask in the mornings.

I've been using this for around 6 months now after using the Retinal 3 for a year before it. Feels like a nice smooth product to use, not heavy feeling on your face. I always apply a night moisturiser over the top after letting it sit for around 30 mins. In terms of effectiveness, it's hard to say. I think of it more as a preventative and wasn't expecting it to reverse fine lines etc. My partner is now on a stronger version - I think 20 or 30. What I have noticed is the colour! The stronger you get, the more orange it makes your skin after application. Definitely a product to be used once you are in for the night! I feel the tube lasts a while - a few months when used only on your face. There's quite a jump in cost as you go up the levels which I feel does make it quite an expensive product.

This has to be the best retinal product I have used. (And I have tried most of them, murad, ordinary, the list goes on.) Ive been using this for about 6 months now. I started off by using the retinal 3 progressed to 6 and I’ll go on to retinal 10 next. It’s creamy in texture, smells pleasant and is absorbed into the skin almost immediately. My skin is on the sensitive side and this retinal has never caused me any problems even though it’s a lot stronger than ‘retinol.’ My skin feels and looks smoother and hydrated, my deeper lines have been drastically improved, and although you can’t expect the results of a face lift it’s made a big difference to how I feel and look. It’s especially helped with the finer lines around my lips. One tube does actually go along way (mine lasts months) and I apply it every evening before bed without fail. I only use one pump full on one side of my face and one pump full on the other before using a smaller amount on my neck. Dark spots have been reduced and my skin texture looks more even. When you get to the end of the tube and nothing more comes out cut the tube in half as there’s still stuff in there! I always look out for this when Amazon are doing special deals or offers and usually can get it when it’s at its best price.

Its just my 2nd week of using this and so far so good. I am stepping up to alternate nights starting from tonight as I had a week of one treatment then 2 nights off. No adverse effects but a bit early to say if its working yet. I will up date the review in a few weeks.

The best retinal based product I have tried so far, better than retinol as it is a direct vitamin A extract. I've been using retinol for a couple of years and no 6 suits my skin, gentle and powerful. I can see the difference around my eyes and smile wrinkles. I wish I'd discovered it sooner. On repeat for me!

Love this product, I think its worth the cost, but also worth shopping around for your suppliers.

I mean this is great product but the tube is half full and it’s only lasted me a couple of weeks or so. I’m sure the contents of the tube have reduced. I did previously buy direct from Medik8 website but switched to Amazon ad there were better deals. Think I’ll need to reconsider other face care options

I’ve only been using the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 6 for about two weeks now, so it’s definitely still early days, but I’m really happy with it so far. I was a bit nervous about moving up to a strength "6" right away, but the formula is surprisingly creamy and hasn't caused any of the typical redness or peeling I’ve had with other retinoids in the past. It has a slight apricot/cinnamon scent that’s actually quite nice, and it sinks into the skin almost instantly without leaving a sticky residue. Since it’s only been 14 days, I’m still in the "phasing in" period (using it twice a week), so I haven't seen any dramatic changes in my fine lines just yet. However, I have noticed that my skin looks a bit more "awake" and glowy the morning after I use it. It definitely feels like a high-end, stable product that is working behind the scenes. I’m excited to see the results once I finish the tube and can use it more frequently, but for anyone worried about sensitivity, this is a great, gentle place to start.
