Legit, safe, and was great for the recent April 2024 eclipse
I got this 5 pack for myself and family. Some of the lenses get slightly wrinkled right out of the package which I worried about but it wasn't an issue at all when wearing them and did not effect the viewing experience. I wore them over my glasses and they worked well. They fold in two places for larger and smaller faces. It did fit my 5 year old's face but she preferred to just hold them over her eyes. I even put them over my smartphone camera lens, my digital camera lens, and my Polaroid instant camera's lens and it worked to varying degrees. It worked best with the iPhone because I could get it closest and flattest against the lens to see what I was shooting but I was even able to get two usable shots from my instant film camera as well which was very cool to see. My concern was that this was an unsafe product which Amazon is now flooded with (don't be fooled by descriptions and markings as those can be faked by anyone) but it ended up being totally safe. You basically can't see anything except something as bright as the sun through it. In broad daylight it's like wearing a blindfold until you look directly at the sun which is a deep orange color through these and not at all too bright or uncomfortable to look at. By the way, we got to see 94% totality in the Chicago area and it was still amazing even without the day turning to night. During the peak the whole of the outdoors had this odd gray hue, colors were different, birds stopped chirping, and the sunlight that was around made everything look almost 2D. It was an odd yet delightful experience. Don't let anyone tell you that seeing anything but full totality is a waste of time because it isn't.

For the 2026 Eclipse… But I Bought Them for 2024. Oops.
So, I grabbed these Lunt Solar Eclipse Glasses 5-Pack thinking I was prepping for the 2024 eclipse. Turns out, they’ve decided to fast-forward us to 2026 — because why not mess with my timeline? They seem to have changed the name, but hey, the glasses still work just fine for staring safely at the sun. Pro tip: They work great for eclipses, bad for driving. Unless you want to test your ability to navigate traffic while basically wearing blackout goggles, please don’t wear these behind the wheel. Trust me on this one. All in all, if you want to safely ruin your vision for a few minutes while gazing at a celestial event a couple years away, these glasses have you covered. Just don’t try to multitask and drive while doing it.

Very nice quality, durable and worked perfectly
These were perfect for my whole family to watch the solar eclipse. They withstood used by the kids for the entire day, and I was able to put them away for future use, if needed.

They were perfect
I was a little apprehensive when I purchased them but it was all for naught. I used the lens from one of the glasses, to cover my iPhone camera lens. The pictures are not the greatest but I am happy I got some pics from the event. We were not in the path of full totality. The glasses worked really well. They fit over my prescription glasses which I was really happy about. And I know they worked well because as I was outside watching the eclipse I heard my neighbor complaining that he couldn’t see anything at all with his solar glasses (he bought them from the local convenience store). Since I ordered the 5 pack and had extra I gave him one of mine and it was so gratifying to see his reaction when he put them on. He was delighted that he could actually clearly see the beautiful sun and couldn’t stop thanking me for giving him my extra one. One very happy neighbor, is money well spent. I have saved them and can use them again, 👍👍

Works great and was certified by the proper safety organizations
I was able to see the eclipse perfectly and I can confirm this brand has all the proper tests and certifications for looking at the sun. When viewing the sun, especially during an eclipse, it is crucial to use proper safety equipment to prevent eye damage. Look for eclipse glasses that meet the ISO 12312-2 standard, which ensures they block out 100% of harmful ultraviolet and infrared light and 99.999% of intense visible light. Additionally, glasses should have the CE certification, indicating compliance with safety, health, and environmental protection requirements in the European Economic Area. Legitimate eclipse glasses will include clear labeling of the manufacturer, instructions for safe use, and warnings about the dangers of improper use. They should also have an optical density of 5 or greater, reducing visible light to safe levels while allowing you to see the sun clearly. Reputable manufacturers will have their products tested by independent laboratories to ensure they meet these safety standards. Always purchase eclipse glasses from a reputable source to avoid counterfeit or uncertified products that can pose significant risks to your eyesight.
